WW2 German War Service Cross 1st Class with Swords by Kerbach & Oesterhelt, fine example with much of the finish remaining to the cross. Original pin and catch fixing to the reverse. The pin stamped with makers number ’62’. Housed in its original leatherette case with makers details to the interior lid, silver leaf image of the award to the top of the lid.

Retains nearly all of its original paint finish and is fitted with an original camouflage net. Helmet with the separate liner system. Classic look for an American WW2 steel helmet.

#177 – RARE THIRD REICH NSKK LEADERS CHAINED DRESS DAGGER BY CARL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN (Лот: 5508)
RARE THIRD REICH NSKK LEADERS CHAINED DRESS DAGGER BY CARL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN, good honest example of an original NSKK leaders dress dagger with dark wood grip having enamel SA emblem and aluminium eagle inserted. Plated top and lower grip mounts. Housed in the original scabbard with plated mounts. Attached to the scabbard is the original hanging chain with four links to the top and five to the bottom. The links have relief of NSKK eagle emblem and mobile type swastikas. Complete with the original large clip fitting with oakleaf spray relief to the centre. First chain link at the top stamped ‘MUSTERSCHUTZ NSKK KORPSFUHRUNG’ and the first link on the lower section with RZM mark. Blade being standard double edged with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and the reverse with RZM M7/66 1941 which is the code for Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Some wear and small chips to the edge of the blade and some plating lifting to the fittings but generally still a good example of a rare and desirable dress dagger of the Third Reich.

WW2 German 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class by B H Mayer, Mint condition example which retains all of the polished silver finish to the frame and all the finish to the centre of the award. Complete with the original pin and catch fixing. The pin being stamped with maker number ’26’. Housed in its leatherette case with outline of award to the lid. An excellent example, almost impossible to upgrade from.

#177 – WW2 US Army M1 Helmet and Liner (Лот: 11923)
WW2 US Army M1 Helmet and Liner, Original wartime example of an M1 helmet, this one is of the later war pattern with swivel chin strap bales and a front seam. The is in its original dark green cork chopped finish. To the front of the helmet is painted a 2nd lieutenants rank bar, in yellow. The heat/lot number stamped to the inside is ‘944A’. the original webbing chin straps still hand from the bales with the standard wartime hook system to fasten them. The liner in its original OD is complete with leather band and chin strap. Stamped to the crown is the makers mark of ‘International Molded Plastics Inc’. Finished with a hessian cover and large square type camo net.

Rare Third Reich SS Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Jacobs & Co Solingen Grafrath, good example of a model 33 enlisted mas dress dagger with ebony grip retaining the enamel SS rune emblem and nickel eagle insignias. Polished top and lower mounts. Housed in its original anodised scabbard which shows some wear and polishing. Single hanging ring. The blade has the special motto, only found on Jacobs and Klittermann & Moog SS daggers, with the exclamation mark after the motto, ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue!’. Blade with Jacobs & Co makers trade mark to the reverse, which is much rarer to find than then later RZM examples by this maker. The blade has been polished like the exterior fittings so some of the detail and depth has been lost but still a good example of a desirable and rare maker SS enlisted mans dress dagger. Blade 8.8 inches, overall 14 3/4 inches

#178 – WW1 British Jacob & Co’s Hardtack Biscuits (Лот: 10244)
WW1 British Jacob & Co’s Hardtack Biscuits, two examples still housed in the original small metal storage tin with ‘JACOB & Co’s BISCUITS’ to the lid. These type of biscuits were often sent to the trenches in WW1 and were also issued to British troops as they did not perish in the conditions, they were however not favoured by the British troops and as such some were kept as souvenirs of their time at the front, however not many still survive intact to this day.
