#174 – WW2 US Army M1 Fixed Bale Front Seam Helmet Shell (Лот: 11920)
WW2 US Army M1 Fixed Bale Front Seam Helmet Shell, US Army M1 helmet shell with front seam and fixed chin strap bales. Its original green paint finish remains but has surface rusting to the crown of the helmet, due to storage. Some small splatters of light green paint marks have marked the front of the shell but doesn’t detract to much from being an untouched wartime helmet. The original chin strap remains attached, and the shell is lot numbered ‘364A’ to the inside.

#175 – WW2 US Army M1 Helmet, Fixed Bale Front Seam (Лот: 11921)
WW2 US Army M1 Helmet, Fixed Bale Front Seam, Complete M1 helmet with chin strap and liner. The shell has been over painted, potentially by its original owner or post war, due to its finish showing signs of wear. The rim is front seamed and features the fixed bales for the chin straps which still hang from them. The liner made by ‘Westinghouse’ due to its makers mark on the inside crown in 1946 dated to the rear cloth strap. The finish is quite unusual, being a bright pastel green, although this looks to be the original paintwork. A large square net completes this helmet, giving a good representation of a 79th Division G.I in the Normandy campaign.
