THIRD REICH AWARD PLAQUE FOR SWORDSMITH, interesting trophy plaque awarded for 25 years as a swordsmith. Centre of the plaque shows a figure of an Olympian standing on rock face holding laurel leaf in the air. Mounted into a ebonised wooden frame mount with hanging catch to the reverse. Engraved plaque on the lower section of the frame, ‘Zum 25 BERUFSJUBILAUM gewidmet Vereinigte SCHWERTSCHMIEDE u RECKER’. Good overall condition.

WW2 British Steel Combat Helmet with Camouflage Cover, an interesting example of a WW2 British steel combat helmet which has been fitted with an original cloth cover with a worn and faded camouflaged pattern. The helmet shell retains its early brown paint finish to the shell. Interior is complete with the original 1939 dated liner and webbing chinstrap. Late Rod Flood collection.

RARE WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN 26TH WURTTEMBERG DRAGOONS ENLISTED MANS FIELD GREY TUNIC, fine example produced in the 1910 style with lemon yellow piping to the front and to the stand up collar, yellow piping to the Swedish cuffs and the rear skirt. Standard crowned brass buttons to the front. Single Wurttemberg collar disc insignia. M-15 pattern white piped shoulder straps with red felt monogram to the centre. Interior of the tunic with grey cloth lining and nicely inked stamped with date 1915 and feint army group stamping. Overall remains in excellent condition with just very little wear.

Very rare large gilt example for Newcastle upon Tyne Pilots, a superb, mounted example of Kingston upon Hull Trinity House Pilots, Aberdeen Civic Official, London & North Western Railway Dining Car staff, Queen’s Bodyguard Royal Coy of Archers, Royal Family when at Windsor, King George IV’s 1821 visit to Ireland, Prussian Royal Household plus officers’ military, hunts and London Regiment buttons. Generally very good condition. (68 items)

THIRD REICH TRANSITIONAL HITLER YOUTH BOYS DAGGER BY HARTKOFF & CO, SOLINGEN, good example with two piece black chequered grips with enamel HJ diamond inserted to the centre. Housed in its original blackened steel scabbard with leather belt loop fitting to the reverse. Knife type blade with makers mark to the reverse and RZM M7/40. Some light staining to the blade and some scratches to the scabbard but otherwise a good example overall. Blade 5 ½ inches, overall 10 inches.

RARE PAIR OF COMBAT WORN GERMAN FALLSCIRMJAGER (PARATROOPERS) COMBAT TROUSERS, well worn pair of the field grey cloth special pattern combat trousers as issued to the German paratroopers in WW2. The trousers have the correct construction with the additional leg pockets with the press studs being marked ‘PRYM’. Slash side pockets and small hip pockets. Ties to the ankles. Some period field repairs to the trousers. Interior waist with remains of visible ink stampings. Extremely rare to find item of uniform from WW2 German paratroopers.

Twenty Polish WW2 Officers’ buttons (JR Gaunt & Sons, London). Five excavated Russian Regimental Buttons (Nos. 10, 12, 13, 17, 19. Diameter 22mm.) from Sebastopol, Crimea campsites. (c.90 items)

Rare Imperial German M1889 Parade Helmet of the Prussian Leibgendarmerie, The Personal Bodyguard of the Kaiserin, Wife of the Kaiser Wilhelm II, steel lobster tail helmet shell having brass trim and studs to the rear. Garde front plate having the motto ‘MIT GOTT FUR KONIG UND VATERLAND 1860’ and centre having blackened brass Prussian eagle and motto ‘SUUM CUIQUE’. State and national large pattern cockades with scaled leather backed chinstraps. The helmet is fitted with a restored / replaced silver painted parade eagle with removable crown top. Underside of the front peak painted green and the rear underside is black. Replacement brown leather liner system to the interior. The helmet shows signs of restoration and has some surface rusting to the exterior. This unit consisted of approximately 100 men and one officer. They were tasked with the protection of the Kaiserin on state occasions.

THIRD REICH TRANSITIONAL HITLER YOUTH BOYS DAGGER BY F W HOLLER, SOLINGEN, two piece black chequered grips with enamel HJ diamond to the centre. Some bubbling to the plating on the pommel. Housed in its original steel scabbard which has lost most of its black finish. Leather belt loop attachment to the reverse of the scabbard. Knife blade with F W Holler, Solingen and RZM M7/33 trademarks to the reverse. Some wear to the blade. The blade measures 5 ¼ inches, overall 9 ¾ inches.

#295 – WW2 GERMAN PANZER BLACK WRAPOVER TUNIC (Лот: 7647)
WW2 GERMAN PANZER BLACK WRAPOVER TUNIC, good example of a combat worn black panzer wrapover tunic with pink piped collar patches having zinc skulls, pair of enlisted ranks pattern pink piped black shoulder straps with field grey wool backing. To the flap is medal ribbons for the Iron Cross 2nd class and the Eastern front medal. Tunic is complete with the original black buttons. Mid war type grey bevo on black breast eagle. Interior of the tunic with its typical grey lining. Interestingly the tunic has had some period alterations by the original owner, the shoulders have had an extra padding pads inserted for comfort when being worn and also the internal button holes have been extended. The tunic has ink issue stampings to the interior. The tunic does show some wear with thinning to the nap of the cloth, hole under one armpit and the other with a repair, but this is still a good example of a classic and iconic combat tunic of the German panzer (armoured) forces.
