WW1 British 08 Pattern Webbing Set with 1907 Bayonet, good miss-match made up 1908 webbing set, including 1918 dated wide waist belt, miss-matched pair of ammunition pouches, 1916 dated brace strap, other not clear date, felt covered water bottle in webbing cradle, entrenching tool cover with clear ink stampings. 1907 bayonet in leather scabbard by Wilkinson, with webbing frog and scarce entrenching tool halve holder. Good grouping, ideal for display.

#345 – Rare WW1 British 08 Pattern Pistol Belt Set Equipment as worn by Members of the Tank Corps, Machine Gun Corps and Royal Flying Corps (Лот: 6248)
Rare WW1 British 08 Pattern Pistol Belt Set Equipment as worn by Members of the Tank Corps, Machine Gun Corps and Royal Flying Corps, super set with the rare special pattern belt which is ink marked and date which appears to be 1918, pair of 1918 dated brace attachment straps. Webbing shoulder straps with ink stampings. Attached to the belt is an original open top brown leather Webley pistol holster with the securing strap being stamped ‘H.G.R 1916’ and a leather ammunition pouch. Accompanied by a loose cord lanyard for a Webley revolver. Remains in very good overall condition and very hard item of WW1 equipment to find. See page 120-123 of ‘Campaign 1915’ by Chris Pollendine for more information on this type of equipment.

WW1 British Equipment Grouping, consisting of 1917 dated 08 pattern webbing mounted haversack with shoulder strap. Attached to the haversack is a WW1 period enamelled tin mug. Accompanied by a 1914 dated mounted troops ammunition bandolier. All items show age, haversack with some ink staining, but generally a good group. (3 items)

Victorian 2nd Battalion The Kings Liverpool Regiment Drum, good untouched example of an original mid Victorian period regimental drum by George Potter & Company, Aldershot, with the original polychrome finish in form of the Royal arms, regimental scroll, regimental badge and battle honour up to Burma 1885-87. Complete with what appear to be the original skins an tension ropes. Some flaking an wear to the paint finish but still a good example.

Victorian 2nd Battalion Hampshire Regiment Drum Majors Sash, fine example of a white cloth sash being heavily embroidered with Victorian crown above VR cypher, battle honours, regimental insignia, Tiger on scroll ‘INDIA’, more battle honours and then spray of Hampshire roses. Edging with lace. Reverse of the sash with leather and gilt tooled makers details of Hobson & Sons. Some wear but generally a good example. ate Rod Flood collection
