    Imperial German Era Hunting Sidearm, fine large German hunting sidearm with large antler horn grips having brass large acorn devices to the centre. Brass top pommel, cross guard with wild boar to the centre and hoof cross guard. Shell guard with oakleaves relief and stag within a hunting horn. Housed in leather and brass mounted scabbard with original skinning knife to the scabbard. Original brown leather frog hanger and brass acorn frog stud. Fine single edged blade with etched scenes to both sides of the blade. Stamped with the makers mark of Carl Kaiser & Co, Solingen to the forte under the guard. The blade 41 ½ cms, overall 58cms.

    US NON-REGULATION CW OFFICERS SWORD, style is like a British Model 1822, the ricasso is mkd. ‘Clauberg, Solingen’, the double engraved blade has a patriotic eagle along w/ ‘U.S.’ etc., the blade is bright but has been cleaned, has a pierced iron guard w/ eagle design, the hilt is nickeled as is correct, 95% of dark leather grip & copper wire wrap are intact, iron scabbard is also nickeled, these are a handsome sword favored by several officers, VG++

WHITE NOTTS & DERBY R.’Arthur Victor Kemp was born on 11th November 1896 in Barcombe, Sussex. He enlisted on 28th July 1915 and was discharged due to ill health on 24th June 1920. He was awarded the pair of medals for his war service.Arthur Benjamin White attested for service on 17th March 1917 and was discharged unfit for further service on 24th April 1919 aged 38. Issued with a Silver War Badge. Awarded a pair of medals only for his service.

LEVETT K.R.R.C.’ F W Levett is confirmed on the medal roll of the 2nf Battalion for the medal and both clasps. He is listed as having died of tuberculosis on 9th August 1900 at Mooi River in KwaZulu -Natal.

    Victorian Afghanistan & India Campaign Medal Pair to the Rifle Brigade, Afghanistan medal with clasp Ali Musjid, engraved naming, ‘2832 PTE J. WILLIS 4TH BN RIFLE BDE’, India General Service medal with clasp Northwest Frontier, impressed naming ‘2074 PTE J WILLIS 3 BN RIF. BDE’, some edge knocks to naming. Confirmed on rolls for both medals and clasps. Also appears on the roll for the Jowaki 1877-78 clasp with the 4th Battalion and is entitled to a Long Service and Good Conduct medal. 19 year old James Willis attested for the Rifle Brigade at Woodstock, Oxfordshire on 11th January 1859. He Served for a total od 21 years and 101 days of which he spent 20 years and 10 months in the Indies before being discharged on 22nd March 1880 aged 40.

Housed in black leather and brass mounted scabbard. The rear of the top scabbard mount is engraved ‘Ehrenhirschfänger A Passemann M.G.K. Quedlingburg 13.10.1927’. Single edged straight blade with feint etched decoration of foliage and crowned Imperial style eagle. Unmaker marked blade. Some pitting and wear to the blade. The blade measures 41cms, overall 55 ½ cms.

    Victorian Cavalry Medal Group of Three for Service in the Light Dragoons in the Punjab and in the Heavy Brigade in the Crimean War, Punjab medal with 2 clasps, Goojerat and Chilianwala, impressed naming, ‘S. JACOB, 3RD LT DRAGNS’, Crimea medal with 3 clasps, Balaklava, Inkerman and Sebastopol, impressed naming, ‘S. JACOBS. 1ST DRAGOONS’, with Turkish Crimea medal, Sardinian type, unnamed as issued with a modified suspension. Some contact wear to the medals.tephen Jacobs a 19-year-old labourer from the village of Charing, Kent attested for service in the 3rd Light Dragoons in Maidstone on 7th April 1846. He served for a total of 15 years and 91 days of which 10 years and 7 months were spent overseas. He served in the 3rd Light Dragoons until 30th June 1853 when he transferred to the 1st Dragoons serving in the Regiment until 31st August 1857 when he transferred to the 7th Dragoon Guards with who he served until his discharge 21st August 1861 at the age of 34. ll 3 medals with their respective clasps are confirmed on his discharge papers and he is confirmed as present on the relevant Regiment rolls for the Punjab medal with both clasps and the Crimea medal with 3 clasps.
