Mid-war solid zinc Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. So-called ‘Vienna Design’ manufactured by the Vienna-based maker R. Souval. Properly marked with the maker’s thin maker mark R.S. Apart from miniscule remains on the awards set-up the badge lost all of its finish but remains in unrepaired condition. Notice the typical ‘smile-shaped’ production flaw on the PABs reverse. (c.f. Mid-war solid zinc Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. So-called Vienna design PAB manufactured by the Gablonz-based maker Rudolf Richter. Properly marked on the with the maker’s logo R.R.S.
