Large medal bar with five decorations: First an Iron Cross 2nd class, 1914, on combatant ribbon, followed by a Hamburg Hanseatic Cross, then the exceedingly rare Weimar Veterans’ Association Cross of Honor (this is only loosely connected to the bar), Kyffhäuser commemorative medal for the World War 1914/1918 with a sword clasp on the ribbon, lastly a commemorative medal in memory of the 100th anniversary celebration of the Crown Prince Dragoon Regiment on a ribbon in Brunswick colors.The medal bar is terminated with remnants of red felt. Needle system intact. In addition, the matching ribbon bar, also with losses of the felt on the reverse. #71-1240 – Saxony-Weimar – Medal for Merit 1816 -1822 Bronze Merit Medal CAROLVS AVGVSTVS (Лот: 4701)
Bronze Medal of Merit of the Duchy of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach on the original ribbon with miniature barrette, showing the Avers side of a later medal. Stamp cutter ‘ANDRIEU F.’ Very clean coinage. Duke Carl-August of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach awarded this sparingly from 1814 on in the bronze, silver and gold for general merit, as a prize or for gifts. These specimens were awarded without eyelets for wear. In order to be allowed to wear the medal, an application had to be made, which then allowed the user to procure the eyelet at his own expense. This explains the number of variants on the few known specimens

Cross for loyal services of the Principality of Schaumburg-Lippe for members of the princely house, issued in 1914 by Prince Adolph von Schaumburg-Lippe. Very clean gold-plated bronze in mint condition. On the reverse, cross-shaped plate with a round screw disc equipped with a bracket, marked with the number ‘653146’ and the design protection mark ‘D.R.G.M.’ (see the similarity to the Iron Crosses of the 1st Class, 1914, made of real silver, which are also found in this design with the cross-shaped silver plate and the identical screw disc lettering. A comparison with the discs of these Iron Crosses certainly shows that the discs were coined from the same tool). Unique possibility to ever obtain this extremely rare cross with only 36 total awards

#71-1246 – Wurttemberg – 2 x Fire Brigade Service Medals, 2. Mod & Free State Version (Лот: 4706)
The Fire Brigade Service Decoration 2nd model was awarded between 1912 to 1915 and 1919 to 1920 after being issued by the Minister of the Interior on approval of the King of Wuerttemberg on December 27, 1912. The recipient had to be a member of any Wuerttemberg fire brigade for 25 years. The manufacturer for this medal was W.Mayr & F.Wilhelm in Stuttgart. The Free State of Wuerttemberg’s Fire Brigade Service Decoration was issued by the legislative on June 20, 1925, and required 25 years of service in one of the Free States fire brigades. The medal was made by the same maker as its’ predecessor but also by the Wuerttemberg Mint

Large medal bar of a Württemberg officer and participant in the Franco-Prussian War with six decorations. First a Knight’s Cross 1st Class of the Württemberg Order of Frederick, gold and enamel, chipped in some places in the lower arm of the cross, the enamel of the right arm of the cross repaired, followed by a Württemberg service medal 2nd class for 21 years of service of the non-commissioned officers, then a Prussian commemorative medal for combatants 1870/71, followed by a Württemberg war commemorative medal with the monogram ‘K’ (for King Karl) for loyal service in a campaign of war 1866, the eyelet re-soldered, a Prussian crown order 3rd class in gold and enamel, good condition, manufacturer ‘WK’ (probably Willibald Kluge), and finally a Centennial Medal. The reverse terminated with red felt and needle system

This Cross of Merit with Swords is made from silver and gilded in part. On the original ribbon. Impeccable piece with grown patina. The cross is variant from the known Foehr and Mint crosses and must be from the small batch that Court Jeweler Carl Zinser supplied initially in 1915.
