WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officers Dress Dagger with Straps and Portepee by WKC, fine example of a Kriegsmarine officers dress dagger with much of the gilt finish remaining to the eagle pommel top. White celluloid grip with the original wire binding. Cross guard with release button. Attached to the grip is the original Kriegsmarine issue portepee. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Complete with the two piece but miss-matched hanging straps. Double edged blade with standard etched decoration and WKC makers trademark. The blade measures 24 ¾ cms, overall 42cms.

Third Reich Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Dress Dagger by E & F Horster Solingen, with blue leather covering to the grip and original wire binding. Aluminium pommel with mobile swastika to both sides, cross guard in winged form with mobile swastikas to the centre of both sides. Blue leather covered scabbard with aluminium mounts. Complete with full aluminium hanging chains. Double edged blade with leather spacer to the top. Makers trade mark to the reverse of the blade. The blade measures 30 ½ cms, overall 49 cms. Some light staining to the blade and some minor scuffs to the leather work on the exterior but otherwise a nice example.

WW2 German Luftwaffe 2nd Pattern Officers Dress Dagger with Straps and Knot by Gustav Spitzer, Solingen, good example with the top pommel having the swastika to both sides. White celluloid grip with the original wire binding in place. Luftwaffe eagle cross guard. Bullion officers dagger knot / portopee attached. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard is an original pair of velvet backed brocade hanging straps, one fixing clip damaged. Double edged plain blade with the makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 25 ¼ cms, overall 43 cms. Some fraying to the portepee and some light staining to the blade but a scarcer maker to find for this dagger.

WW2 American M3 Fighting Knife, early 1943 dated ‘U.C’ (Utica Cutlery Company, NY). Housed in scarce M6 leather scabbard by Moose & Co, 1943 dated also. Blade and scabbard both show heavy use, with the tip missing, possibly for use as a can opener. These knives often associated with the US airborne troops which dropped in Normandy on D-Day. Blade 16cms, overall 38cms.

WW2 German Luftwaffe Issue Combat Boot Knife, fine example of the combat boot knife issued to the German armed forces in WW2 with two piece wooden grips secured by three steel studs. Steel cross guard and housed in its original blackened scabbard with boot / belt hook attachment. Partially double edged knife blade with stamped mark of an eagle with number ‘5’ which would indicate issued to the Luftwaffe Field Divisions or ground assault Paratroopers. Some light wear but generally still a good example. Blade 16 ¾ cms, overall 29cms.

Steel oval cross guard. Housed in the original blackened scabbard with belt clip to the reverse. Well worn partially double edged blade measuring 15cms, overall 27 ½ cms.

WW2 German Police Bayonet by Alexander Coppel, Solingen, example with two piece stag horn grips, aluminium police eagle emblem to the centre. Eagle pommel top and cross guard with oakleaves relief. Housed in the original leather scabbard with plated mounts. Bayonet and scabbard mounts both stamped ‘S.M. III 1003’. Attached to the scabbard is the original frog which has the dress portepee attached. Polished blade with fuller to the back edge and makers trademark to the base. The blade remains in generally good overall condition. Blade measures 33 cms, overall 48 cms.

FS and Wilkinson sword logo to base of blade. Slight wear to the tip of blade but otherwise a good example overall. Housed in the correct 1st pattern scabbard with Newey press stud. Blade 17cms, overall 33cms.

WW2 German Police Bayonet by WKC, Solingen, example with two piece stag horn grips, aluminium police eagle emblem to the centre. Eagle pommel top and cross guard with oakleaves relief. Housed in the original leather scabbard with plated mounts. The cross guard has had the unit marks removed and just a number ‘1’ stamped, the scabbard chape has the unit stamp crossed out and number ‘1’ stamped. The removal of the unit stamp is period and possibly the bayonet was re-issued. Polished blade with fuller to the back edge and makers trademark to the base. The blade with some surface rusting and wear, leather shrunk on scabbard making the bayonet tight in the scabbard. Blade measures 33 cms, overall 48 cms.

Some shrinkage to the leather in the scabbard. Straight blade with fuller to the back edge. Blade with makers knights helmet trademark and reverse with written details of the maker. Some surface pitting to the lower portion of the blade. The blade measures 33cms, overall 46 ½ cms.
