Blade 52cms, overall 68cms.

Complete with infantry helmet star to the centre. Helmet retains its original leather three pad liner system on leather liner band. Some wear but generally a good example.

Housed in its original steel scabbard with frog stud. The hilt and top of the scabbard have been painted red, this could probably be removed. Sawback edged blade with fuller and makers details of ‘SIMSON & CO SUHL’. Spine with acceptance stamp and date ’16’ for 1916. Blade measures 36 ½ cms, overall 51 ½ cms.
