The helmet retains its VMC marked 1942 dated liner and webbing chinstrap. Good example, possibly worn in Norway or by Royal Navy gunners on Arctic Convoys etc.

Letter was hand signed by Krebs on 5 February 1943. Very interesting piece.

Tubular body with camouflage scheme. Lense remains clear, range rule still visible. Some wear to the metal body with areas of paint loss.

The centre of the helmet has emblem showing a Pigeons head wearing a steel helmet looking up to the sky on a white circular background. Complete with the original liner and webbing chinstrap. Some denting and rusting to the shell but a very rare to find home front steel helmet.

Housed in the original green card outer slip case printed ‘Militargeographische Einzelangaben uber England’. Accompanied by six of the photograph reconnaissance booklets of landmarks etc. Some wear and fading to some of the green covers. Areas include East Anglia (Ost-Anglia), South Wales (Sud-Wales), North Midlands (Nord-Midlands), etc. Some with more maps than others.

Various date, maker and unit (squadron) stamps as shown in the pictures.This pennant can be purchased with the actual lance. The lance however can only be sold to someone who is able to pick the lance up in the Pittsburgh, PA, area!
