WW1 British Royal Artillery Type A Brodie Steel Helmet Shell, good untouched example of the early type A brodie helmet with the raw edge and the short brim. The helmet shell has a dark overpaint to the early apple green paint finish. Front of the shell is painted emblem or divisional badge for Royal Artillery HQ. Complete with the remains of the original, although later type, leather chinstrap but no liner system. Untouched as found example.

WW1 British Steel Combat Helmet, good untouched example of a 2nd pattern brodie helmet with much of its original combat paint finish remaining to the shell. Covering to the brim of the shell. Complete with the original oilskin liner to the interior and brown leather chinstrap, the chinstrap mounts having the split pin fitting. These early war gilded aluminium buckles were produced before the more often encountered one piece constructed bright gilded types. Very rare piece.

WW1 British Steel Combat Helmet, good untouched example of a 2nd pattern brodie hemet which retains its original rough textured paint finish to the shell. 2nd type with brim covering. Interior retains the original oilskin liner with pink Brodie stamp to the underside. Helmet retains the original leather chinstrap. Some surface rusting to the exterior of the shell but otherwise a good example.

WW1 British Regimentally Marked Steel Combat Helmet Shell, good untouched as found example of a British Brodie 2nd pattern helmet shell with much of its rough textured darkened combat paint finish. To one side of the shell is the remains of the large painted insignia in the form of a white horse on red oval, West Yorkshire regiment? Shell has the original leather chinstrap, detached at one end, but no liner system. Some rusting to the exterior and interior of the shell. Barn find.

Third Reich NSDAP Ortsgruppe Political Leaders Peaked Cap, good example of the tan cloth high form peaked cap for an NSDAP political leader with blue piping to the crown and bordering the central brown velvet band. Gilt metal NSDAP political cap eagle and oakleaves cockade with enamel swastika cockade to the centre. Celluloid cap cords with plain pebbled side buttons. Interior with late type sweatband which has cracks and wear. Satin cloth lining to the interior with unmarked celluloid diamond to the crown. Linen RZM label to the underside of the sweatband. Some areas of moth damage to the piping but generally a good example.

Great War 1917 Isle of Wight Rifles Other Ranks Foreign Service Helmet, fine example of a khaki cloth covered cork foreign service helmet with thick folded cloth pagri having regimental badge affixed to the side. Complete with the original brown leather chinstrap. Green cloth covering to the underside of the helmet, tan leather sweatband. Interior with inked WD broad arrow and ink circular stamp with 1917 date. Helmet remains in very good overall condition. ate Rod Flood collection.
