Blade 43 ½ cms, overall 58cms; British 1907 pattern bayonet with two piece wooden grips, blackened steel pommel, cross guard and housed in its leather and blackened steel mounts. The blade with fuller to the back edge, acceptance stamps and ‘SANDERSON’ makers details. Blade 43cms, overall 57cms; British 1907 bayonet with two piece wooden grips. Suit is well worn with some fraying in places. Vendor states the suit belonged to Lt Col E William Schofield, 1st Scouting Force 8th Air Force 1941-45 and comes with a brief service history etc.

Lower cross guard mount with ‘I’ mark. Housed in its refinished scabbard. Double edged blade with motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’. Reverse side with the remains of the makers trademark and clear evidence of removal of a Rohm inscription. Some wear to the blade, grip with some chipping and wear. Reasonable example of a desirable dress dagger. Blade 8 ¾ ‘.

Top mount having engraved number ‘133219’. Housed in its original scabbard with single hanging ring. Double edged blade with motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’, reverse with makers trademark for Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Some staining and wear to the blade, grip with some chips and appears to have been varnished at one time, but a reasonable starter example for a new collector.

Ставки принимаются через менеджераBritish Post War L1A3 Bayonet and Mk 5 Scabbard, this has the early model L1A3 blade with the long fuller, and the waisted crosspiece. The hilt is marked: L1A3 9600257, which is the NATO designation for this weapon. The blade has been highly polished and the hilt and scabbard have been painted gloss black for parade use by a British infantry battalion in the 1970s. The accompanying white nylon frog was for parade use. This bayonet fitted the Self Loading Rifle.
