Mid-war solid zinc Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. Produced by the Gablonz-based marker A. Scholze and properly marked with the maker’s initials A.S. Underneath its heavy black patina the badge, apart from some typical zinc bubbling, remains in very good condition with all all of its finish perfectly preserved. Mid-war hollow zinc-made Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. Unmarked but safely attributed to W. Deumer from Lüdenscheid. Mid-war hollow zinc Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. Manufactured by Assmann & Söhne from Lüdenscheid and properly marked with the maker ‘A’ logo. Combat-worn example that lost both its catch and pin as well as most of its Silver finish. Two holes were made in the badge so it could be sewn back on to the uniform. #75-1566 – Tank Assault Badge 2nd Class ’25’ in Silver ‘JFS’ (Лот: 8409)
Mid-war solid zinc Panzer Assault Badge, grade II (25), in Silver.. Unmarked but safely attributed to the Gablonz-based maker Josef Feix & Söhne. an early variant that received a strong two-tone silver finish and apart from light finish loss survived in very good condition. Mid to late war solid zinc made Grade II (25) Panzer Assault Badge In Silver. Unmarked but safely attributed to the Gablonz-based maker Josef Feix &Söhne (JFS). Overall in very good, unworn condition. The catch suffered a little and features a crack at the base. It sits a little loose but is still functional (Cf. The German Panzer Assault Badge of WW II, Ph. De Bock, 2021, Pages 867-868)

Early hollow tombak made Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze. Unmarked but safely attributed to Markneukirchen-based company K. Wurster. A ‘Die 1’ variant that clearly saw its share of the action. Clear traces of heavy combat wear and a rather crudely executed catch repair. For sure not the best preserved of its kind but a battle hardened PAB with tons of character. (cf. Early hollow Tombak made Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze. Unmarked but safely attributed to K. Wurster from Markneukirchen. A second so-called ‘organized grass’ pattern.
