Early Buntmetall/Tombac made hollow General Assault Badge. Unmarked but safely attributed to the Lüdenscheid based manufacturer W. Deumer. The GAB shows clear traces of wear but managed to retain a good part of its original finish. Other wise in undamaged condition

Early hollow tombak made General Assault Badge. Unmarked but safely attributed to the Pforzheim-based maker O. Schickle. Overall in very good condition with light traces of wear and a lovely untouched patina. Featuring the earliest round wire catch with a flattened base

Mid to late war solid zinc made General Assault Badge ‘Grade II’ (25). Manufactured by the Gablonz-based maker R. Karneth and properly marked with the maker initials RK in a circle. Clear traces of actual wear and finish loss, featuring a catch with a stress-related crack at its base. Still functional but fragile. Otherwise in good condition

Mid-war Solid zinc Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. Manufactured by the Dresden-based maker Hermann Aurich. White frosted finish variant that apart from heavy finish loss on the right upper wreath remains in good condition. (cf. The German Panzer Assault Badge of WW II, Ph. De Bock, 2021 revised edition page 254)

Early hollow Tombak made Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. Unmarked but safely attributed to O.Schickle from Pforzheim. Overall in very good condition with only minor traces of wear and finish loss. Not the rarest but a very representative example of an early quality PAB. (cf. The German Panzer Assault Badge of WW II, Ph. De Bock, 2021 revised edition pages 545-546)
