Mid-war solid zinc-made Infantry Assault Badge. The possible maker of this high-quality IAB remains a bit of a riddle. First attribute to H.Wernsteinn by now it was found twice in an envelope marked ‘Metall und Kunstharzwerk GmbH ‘ Komotau / Sudetengau. Whoever made it these heavy zinc IAB’s with a good quality finish rate among the best ever made. Also this example survived in overall very good condition
