#75-1813 – Bavaria – Merit Order of the Bavarian Crown Grand Commander Set (Лот: 8227)
This grand commander set made by Jacob Leser was made from gilded silver and enamel. The cross has the makers plaque attached to the lower part of an oak leaf wreath. The star shows an old inventory number drawn onto the reverse.An early WWI issued set in immaculate condition. #75-1814 – Bavaria – House Equestrian Order of Saint George Grand Cross Star (Лот: 8228)
Made from silver and enamel with a golden center medallion plate. All translucid enameled parts are hand detailed creating that known sparkle. As usual there is chipping on the blue enamel on various cross arms. Avers applications are separately attached to the silver star body. Makers plaque from Eduard Quellhorst on the reverse. Double needle for wear.

Bavarian Military Cross of Merit of the Military Order of Merit, 1st model 1966 to 1905. The body silver, the separately applied medallions gold. Extremely beautiful condition on the original ribbon. #75-1818 – Hesse-Cassel – Order of the Iron Helmet Iron helmet, 2nd Type (Лот: 8232)
This 2nd Type based on the German Cross was made by “Kompff” in burnished iron, frame, helmet applications (one missing), eyelet and ribbon ring in silver, the helmet is double riveted on the reverse and shows the manufacturer’s name as well.Exceptionally rare! According to Werner Sauer 68 decorations were awarded. Sauer had published the names and dates of all awardees.Even with that small shortcoming an almost unrecoverable gem for any Napoleonic medal collection

#75-1826 – Saxony – Albert Order, 1876 – 1918, Grand Cross Star with Swords (Лот: 8240)
This Grand Cross star with swords was made from silver and shows silver gild applications (Medallion and Swords). The star is one of those rare and original order decorations awarded during the Great War. It is one of those extremely rare finds. Besides a few issues with the enamel and “upgraded” hardware on the reverse (see images) a very handsome example of the G.A.Scharfenberg craftsmanship.
