This typical Bavarian style medal bar has hangers on the reverse. The bar is fitted for the Prussian Iron Cross 2nd Class, 1914, Bavarian Military Merit Order of Merit Cross, one oof the so-called Hindenburg Crosses, Bavarian Golden Wedding Anniversary Medal and lastly Bavarian Long Service cross or medal. The bar is fresh and terminated on the reverse with green felt and a needle system for wear.Also present are the Bavarian Luitpold Cross in blackened bronze, the gilded wedding anniversary medal and a Weimar/Bavarian long service Fire Brigade Medal for 25 years of service

The first with 3 awards: In the first place an Iron Cross 2nd class, then a Brunswick War Merit Cross 2nd class with combat ribbon and finally an Austrian Military Merit Cross 3rd class with war decoration. #75-1798 – Prussia – Pour le Mérite with oak leaves (Лот: 8216)
Blue enameled cross in gold with eagles in between each cross arm, the obverse inlaid in gold the crown and cypher “F” for Friedrich on the top cross arm, “Pour le Mérite” (“For Merit”) reads across the left arm to the right and ending on the bottom arm, the reverse presents blue-enameled cross arms and eagles between each quadrant. Hollow construction with weep holes to the sides of the cross arms. The cross features the gold oak leaf mounted on a golden suspension ring attached to the so-called baroque eyelet, with a piece of black ribbon with three silver stripes.This unmarked cross with oak leaf was either awarded right before or during the beginning of WWI. Though it is unmarked, it is undoubtedly from the shop of Wagner in Berlin.An extremely rare opportunity to acquire the most desirable type of Pour le Mérites in an unprecedented condition.The cross and oak leaf are stone mint!

Made from Gold and enamel. All glass inserts are present. The floral elements within the cross arms are hand polished giving the decoration that plays between yellow and red gold.Worn piece with minor damage on the lower cross arm rim.
