A Kings South Africa Medal to a Serjeant Who Served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in the Guards Brigade Bearer Company, medal with 2 clasps, South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902, ‘9875 SERJT: A. BURROWS R.A.M.C.’ lbert Burrows attested for service on 31st October 1890 and served for 21 years before his discharge on 30th October 1911. During this time, he served for 4 years and 3 months in Egypt and 3 years and 3 months in South Africa. This medal and both clasps are confirmed on the roll and he is also entitled to the Queens medal with 6 clasps (Guards Brigade Bearer Company medal roll) and an Army Long Service and Good Conduct medal (Army Order 101/1909).

Medals display mounted in a frame with the issue letter for the Kuwait medal.

Commemorative Badge in Bronze of the Einsatzstaffel of the Deutschen Mannschaft ‘DM’ in Croatia. So-called ‘Croatian SS Badge’. The Einsatzstaffel ‘DM’ was a military unit of ethnic Germans in Croatia, under the command of the Waffen-SS. The leader was Volksgruppenführer and SS-Sturmbannführer Branimir Altgayer. Many members of the unit served on the Russian Front in 1941/1942. In 1943 the unit was incorporated into 7. SS-Freiwilligen-Gebrigs-Division ‘PRINZ EUGEN’.Bronzed tombak badge. Hollow-construction. The pin is broken. Very rare to find.

Very rare badge of honor of the Friedrich Krupp AG. Awarded to the director of the company Hauptmann Max Dreger for his outstanding merits. Around 1910.The badge is made of genuine gold. It shows the Krupp cannon (model VIII – 7,5 cm), framed by oak leaf branches. The cannon is made of platinum. Total weight: 53.3 gr.With the original case of issue. ‘E. Goldschmidt Hofjuwelier Cöln’ maker marked on the lining. It opens and closes correctly. Comes with a letter to Hauptmann Dreger (nothing to do with the badge). Dated ’19. July 1911′

First an Iron Cross 2nd class, 1914 version, then Waldeck, silver medal of merit with swords in the version from 1915 to 1918 and finally a Kyffhäuser commemorative medal for veterans of the First World War.
