#74-1425 – Tank Assault Badge 2nd Class ’25’ in Silver ‘JFS’ (Лот: 8010)
Zinc made second grade (25) Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. Unmarked but attributed to the Gablonz-based maker Josef Feix (JFS). Early production variant that managed to retain its strong silver finish. Apart from its replacement catch the award only shows minor traces of wear and patina build-up. (Cf. #74-1426 – Tank Assault Badge 2nd Class ’25’ in Silver ‘JFS’ (Лот: 8011)
Mid to late war solid zinc grade II Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. Made by the Gablonz-based company J. Feix and properly marked with the maker’s logo ‘JFS’ on the reverse of the award. The award had a hard life and apart from heavy finish loss on the Panzer application shows clear traces of zinc rot. Accompanied by an old jeweler’s case that is not linked to the award. (cf. Mid-war zinc-made Grade II (25) Panzer Assault Badge in Silver.Unmarked but attributed to the Gablonz-based maker Josef Feix & Söhne (JFS). Overall the award remains in very good condition with most of its finish perfectly intact. The only shortcoming is it features a replacement pin.(cf. The German Panzer Assault Badge of WW II, Ph. Mid-war solid zinc made Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze. Manufactured by the Vienna-based maker Rudolf Souval and properly marked with the maker’s broad round letter logo. Overall in very good condition with most of its bronze finish nicely preserved. (Cf. The German Panzer Assault Badge of WW II, Ph. De Bock, 2021, pages 607-608)

Mid-war sold zinc Panzer Assault Bade in Bronze. Manufactured by the Vienna-based maker Friedrich Orth. One of the more difficult-to-find makers of the so-called Vienna Design PAB. Apart from the finish loss the award remains in very good undamaged and unrepaired condition. (cf. The German Panzer Assault Badge of WW II, Ph. De Bock, 2021, pages 669-670)

Mid-war zinc made Heer Flak Badge. Manufactured by the Berlin-based maker C.E. Juncker and properly marked with the maker’s stamped in maker mark. Beautiful example that shows only minor traces of wear and superficial finish loss. Not easy to find in this condition

Mid-war zinc made Heer Paratrooper Badge. Unmarked but safely attributed to C.E. Juncker from Berlin. The award was worn but managed to retain most of its original finish. A very rare award in very good condition. (Cf. The German Luftwaffe & Heer Paratrooper Badges, T. Durante, 2010, pages 462-465)

Tapferkeitsauszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker, 1. Klasse in Gold mit Schwertern im passenden Etui. Trage- und Altersspuren. Sehr selten. Gestiftet wurde die Tapferkeits- und Verdienstauszeichnung am 14.Juli 1942 durch Adolf Hitler für Angehörige der Ostvölker die im Dienst der Wehrmacht standen und sich durch außerordentliche Pflichterfüllung hervorgetan hatten

#74-1438 – Pilot’s Badge ‘B&NL’ mit Etui (Лот: 8023)
Early to mid-war Luftwaffe Pilot Badge in its original case of issue. The badge was made by the Lüdensheid based company Berg & Nolte and is properly maker-marked with the maker’s initials B&NL. The wreath is made of nickel silver the eagle out of Tombak. The award features the recipient’s name ‘Hauptmann H. Heinz’ engraved on the wreath. It comes in its original case of issue. Apart from minor traces of wear the entire set is in very good condition
