With Great War period photograph of Trooper Green in uniform on horseback, some loss to the top of the photo. Charles Reginald Green was born on 1st December 1896 in Far Cotton, Northampton. He was awarded a pair of medals for his Great War service and post war he worked for the railway, information with the medals indicates he was a Ticket Inspector at Kettering station. During the Second World War he served as a Major in the Home Guard. He died in Kettering in April 1970.
