WW2 M26 Model French Infantry Adrian Helmet, French M26 infantry helmet complete with liner and chin strap. The helmet itself is in its wartime period green paint of which some rusting is starting to peer through. The later pattern infantry badge sits to the front with the appearance of it always belonging to this helmet. The liner has all of its tongues intact but is missing three of the metal clips that secures it into the shell. Original chin strap sits across the peak of which it has sat for a long period of time. Nice looking untouched helmet from the Battle of France period.

THIRD REICH SS ENLISTED MANS DRESS DAGGER BY WKC, with ebony grip retaining enamel SS runes and nickel silver grip eagle. Polished and cleaned top and lower mount fittings. Housed in original scabbard with single hanging ring to the top mount. Double edged blade with motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’. Reverse of the blade with RZM logo, 1053/38 and SS runes. The blade has been cleaned and polished as has the exterior fittings. Blade 8 ¼ inches, overall 14 ½ inches.

WW2 American M1 Steel Combat Helmet, being a good untouched example of an early fixed bale M1 helmet shell with webbing chinstrap and steel clips. Much of the original paint finish remains to the exterior of the shell. Complete with its original separate liner with leather strap. Generally good condition set. The early fixed bale helmets were the type worn by the US forces on D-Day (Normandy landings).

WW2 GERMAN ARMY OFFICERS DRESS DAGGER BY ALCOSO, SOLINGEN, example with a replaced (reproduction) white grip, pommel with oakleaves relief, cross guard in the form of army eagle with swastika. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Good condition double edged blade with makers trade mark to the reverse. Blade measures 9 ¾ inches, overall 15 ¼ inches.

Rare Attributed WW2 Special Air Service (S.A.S) Beret Badge of Major R H Branson, fine example of a wartime embroidered winged dagger beret badge as worn by the SAS. Insignia shows wear and removal from a beret. Reverse with the remains of the paper backing. Accompanied by a re-print photograph and details of service of Major R H Branson Royal Artillery later Special Air Service. Major Branson began his service as an enlisted rank in the Royal Artillery in the 1930’s, he gained a commission as a Lieutenant in 1941. Served in various Artillery units in Malta and Sicily before being posted to the SAS in North Africa on 28th January 1944. He later took part in Norway with the SAS before continuing to serve into the post war years. Attribution gained by the vendor.
