WW2 German Award Citation Pair, consisting of official citations for the Iron Cross 2nd class and Wound Badge in black, awarded to Obergefreiten later Unteroffizier Heinrich Oetjengerdes of 3rd battalion Artillery Regiment Nr58 and later 12th battalion Artillery Regiment Nr 158. The Iron Cross 2nd class citation is signed by Generalmajor Curt Siewert commander of 58th Infantry Division and holder of the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross. (2 items)

Victorian Volunteer Regiment Pill Box Cap, blue cloth pill box cap with thick silver braid, knotted top with large wire button. Tan leather sweatband and crimson quilted lining. Thin leather chinstrap fitted to the cap. Some wear and fading to the cloth but otherwise a good example.

Rare Victorian Second Royal Cheshire Militia Home Service Helmet, blue cloth cork body home service helmet with fine officers Victorian crowned helmet plate to the centre having Prince of Wales plumes with coronet to centre, circlet with ‘SECOND ROYAL CHESHIRE’. Silver trim to the peak and rear spine, officers linked chin chain with side rosettes. Cruciform spike base with rose mounts and fluted spike. Interior with thick crimson sweatband and cloth lining. Helmet with some moth damage to the body, central band replaced. Nice dark patina to the fittings. Raised in Macclesfield, Cheshire in 1853, became the 4th Militia battalion Cheshire regiment on 1st July 1881.

Victorian Loyal North Lancashire Regiment Officers Home Service Helmet, fine untouched example with Victorian crowned regimental helmet plate to the centre, brass front trim, rear spine, cruciform base with rosette fittings and fluted spike. Velvet backed linked chinstrap and rosette side bosses. Interior with leather sweatband and crimson cloth lining. Some small areas of moth damage to the blue cloth covering, fittings all with dark patina.

Rare Unofficial 11th Battalion The Hampshire Regiment Royal Jersey Cloth Shoulder Title, embroidered yellow on black cloth shoulder title. his title was worn unofficially in the early years of WW2 by the 11th Bn Hampshire Regiment as it was formed from the Royal Militia Island of Jersey the majority of whose members left the island to come to Britain before the German occupation. It is recorded worn in September 1941 but like most such unofficial titles was finally banned when red and white titles were introduced in 1943.
