Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Good condition double edged blade with makers trade mark to the reverse. Blade measures 9 ¾ inches, overall 15 ¼ inches.

Ставки принимаются через менеджераREPRESENATION OF A WW2 GERMAN M-42 MEDICS HELMET, original M-42 helmet shell with approx.. 85% of its white paint remains, paint on to top is a large 2′ wide red cross w/ 80-90% intact, as the paint is fairly thick no decals are visible, the inside rear skirt is mkd ‘hkp 64’, batch number not clear, interior with a leather liner, which is dark but sound, its black leather chinstrap is a post war replacement, an attractive looking helmet, VG++, we are of the opinion that this helmet is probably a post war refurbished example.

Ставки принимаются через менеджераRare Attributed WW2 Special Air Service (S.A.S) Beret Badge of Major R H Branson, fine example of a wartime embroidered winged dagger beret badge as worn by the SAS. Insignia shows wear and removal from a beret. Reverse with the remains of the paper backing. Accompanied by a re-print photograph and details of service of Major R H Branson Royal Artillery later Special Air Service. Major Branson began his service as an enlisted rank in the Royal Artillery in the 1930’s, he gained a commission as a Lieutenant in 1941. Served in various Artillery units in Malta and Sicily before being posted to the SAS in North Africa on 28th January 1944. He later took part in Norway with the SAS before continuing to serve into the post war years. Attribution gained by the vendor.

Housed in its original scabbard with oakleaf ring mounts. Standard double edged blade with Alcoso, Solingen makers trade mark to the rear. The blade measures 10 ¼ inches, overall 15 ½ inches. Overall a very nice example of this desirable dress dagger from the Third Reich era.

The silver hallmarks are well polished and worn. Leather covering to the base.

The dagger is complete with the original ebony grip with eagle insignia attached to the centre. Plated top pommel and cross guard in form of eagle head with black swastika to the centre of both sides. Housed in the original scabbard of issue with hanging chains attached with spring clip fitting. Some areas of finish loss to the scabbard. Fine double edged blade which retains some of the original cross graining. Blade maker marked Paul Weyersberg & Co, Solingen to the rear. Some small chips to the grip and the spring clip on the chains has slightly over sprung but generally a good example of a rare German dress dagger. Blade 9.6 inches, overall 15 ½ inches
