Sold with a comprehensive archive of original documents and photographs, including, bestowal document for the O.B.E. named to Ernest Charles Douglas Tyrrell, dated 1st January 1968. Assorted photographs with the recipient identified, including 1 photograph with H.M. The Queen. Heinz Oriowski of JG5 & crashed in Norway, the other has a small relic from BF M-109 F4 that was flown by a KC winner who had 53 victories Albert Brunner, this crashed in Murmansk, both plaques are very attract & have lots of information,

WW2 German M-35 Single Decal Kriegsmarine (Naval) Steel Combat Helmet, marked ‘SE 66’ to the inside, retains 75% of its field-green combat finish while its deep gold eagle decal is 40% intact, its brown leather liner shows rim wear but is sound & has original tie-string, its worn chin-strap is dated 1941 etc., has owners name in white in skirt ‘Tonn’, a scarce helmet.

WW1 British Steel Combat Helmet with Divisional / Corps Formation Sign,untouched as found example of a 2ndpattern brodie helmet with covering to the brim. Shell retains much of its original black paint finish to the exterior, centre being a painted divisional / corps sign in the form of a white elephant. Impact dent to the front brim of the helmet. Interior retains the original oilskin liner which has the pink brodie stamp. Complete with the original leather chinstrap, however this has become detached in the centre. Some surface rusting and wear but generally a good untouched steel helmet.
