Plated mounts and linked chain running the length of the wooden haft with a large silver plated lower socket piece. Remains in very good overall condition. Approximately 52′ in length.

British Nurses Collection of WWI Buttons, 37 French and a few German and Russian identified examples attached to 13 military postcards as given to Nurse Minnie MacCulloch serving with the French Red Cross at the Russian Hospital, Carlton Hotel, Paris. A card of Russian medal ribbons, three silk cards and a French Engineer officer’s brassard. Also the Diary of Dorothy Lammin, with the British Red Cross and the American Ambulance in Paris, noting air raids etc. Covering all 1915 then January 1918 to September 1919 when she headed the British Charitable Fund there. #145 – Third Reich TENO (Technische Nothilfe) Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger with Leather Hanger by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen (Лот: 7334)
Third Reich TENO (Technische Nothilfe) Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger with Leather Hanger by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, good example with two white celluloid grip plates, eagle head pommel top and cross guard with the original eagle and TENO emblem. Housed in the original blackened scabbard with plated top and lower scabbard mounts. Attached to the scabbard is the original black leather special pattern hanger with metal clips and thin securing strap which has damage that is very common with these hangers. Top of the scabbard throat is stamped with issue numbers ‘7770’, these numbers are lightly etched to the blade under the cross guard. The standard hewer blade has TENO emblem with ‘GES GESCH’ and Carl Eickhorn, Solingen makers trademark to the reverse. The blade measures 24 ½ cms, overall 41cms. Light areas of plating lifting to the exterior fittings and wear to the hanger but generally a good example of this type of dress dagger.

WW2 American Fighter Pilots Casualty Named Purple Heart Medal, fine example with named reverse ‘CARL E. NEWLANDER JR’. Housed in its original case with enamel ribbon bar and tunic ribbon bar. Embroidered 13th Airforce patch also included. Accompanied by a folder of paperwork research showing that he was Killed in Action whilst flying a P40 Warhawk out of Randora Island in the Solomon Islands, 18th Fighter Group, 44th Fighter Squadron, 13th Army Air Force on 1st July 1943.

Complete with officers bullion dress knot / portepee. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Double edged blade with Carl Eickhorn makers trademark and TENO eagle with ‘GES GESCH’. The dagger blade is numbered ‘0737’ and the scabbard throat is stamped ‘737’. The blade measures 27 ¾ cms, overall 43cms. Some light wear to the exterior fittings. Generally a good example of a rare dagger.
