GERMAN WWII ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER, maker is ‘Siegfied-Waffen, the blade has some lite spotting but overall nice, has an attractive orange grip, has an aluminum cross guard & pommel, its grip band is iron showing some rust, nickel plated scabbard retains 90% of its finish, VG.

Scarce 1st Pattern Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Labour Service Enlisted Ranks Hewer Dagger by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, good untouched example of the scarce and desirable full stag grip pattern dagger, dark patina to the grip fittings. Housed in its original scabbard with the top mount and the lower mount having the RAD emblem to the centre. Scabbard has lost the blackened blued finish to the metal section on the obverse and remains of it to the reverse. Top scabbard mount throat stamped ‘Br.513’. Standard hewer pattern blade with motto ‘Arbeit adelt’ and the reverse with Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark and RADJ stamp. Some wear and patina to the exterior fittings of the dagger. Possibly some screws replaced on the scabbard mounts. Blade 24 ½ cms, overall 39 ½ cms.

WW1 British Officers Cuff Rank Tunic, Peaked Cap and Equipment of 2nd Lieutenant H E Cuthbert Manchester Regiment (Volunteer Force), fine quality officers cuff rank pattern tunic with large lower pockets, bronze Manchester regiment collar badges with ‘V’ underneath. Regimental tunic buttons to the front and pockets. Single rank pip to the cuff within cuff lace. Khaki wool and red felt Derby Scheme armband, brown leather Sam Browne belt, photograph of tunic in wear and commission document dated 1917. Accompanying the set is a fine quality officers soft trench cap with bronze officers cap badge and thin leather chinstrap. Interior with leather sweatband and tailors details to the interior crown. Overall the set remains in very good overall condition.

Third Reich Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Labour Service Enlisted Ranks Hewer Dagger by Alcoso, Solingen, good example of a standard enlisted ranks hewer dagger for the RAD with two piece stag horn grips. Plated fittings with some bubbling and lifting. Scabbard with both top and lower mounts. Some surface rusting to the lower mount, possible replaced screws and one missing. Standard hewer blade with motto ‘Arbeit adelt’ and makers trade mark for Alcoso, Solingen to the reverse. Some surface staining to the blade. Overall generally a good example of a RAD mans dagger. Blade 25cms, overall 40 ½ cms.
