#136 – WW2 German Naval Officers Sword by WKC (Лот: 7325)
WW2 German Naval Officers Sword by WKC, fine untouched example of a standard Third Reich period naval officers sword with lion head pommel having port and starboard jewelled eyes, knuckle guard with relief of acorns and oakleaves, folding cross guard with oakleaves and anchor to the centre. Reverse with plain catch plate. Polished bone grip with wire binding, section to the bottom now absent. Housed in the original black leather and brass mounted scabbard. The scabbard mounts have dome covers to the staples. Curved blade with a light etched decoration to both sides and the spine. The etched sailing ships with swastikas to the flags. WKC makers trademark to the base of the blade. Some wear but generally still a good example. The blade measures 78 ½ cms, overall 93cms.

PROBYN M.P.S.C.’, with anodised EIIR cap badge and matching collar badges. onald William Probyn was born in Kirkee, India in 1929 and died on 15th March 2019.orea Medals to the M.P.S.C. are extremely rare as only 15 members qualified for the campaign medal. he Military Provost Staff Corps, formed in 1901, is one of the smallest Corps in the British Army. Its task is to provide the guards for military prisons. Before being accepted into the Corps Probyn would have already been qualified to be a sergeant, been interviewed by two Boards, including one by a Brigadier, and would have to attend a 13-week Induction Course.

Third Reich Government Officials Dress Dagger by Alcoso, Solingen, fine example of a Government officials dress dagger with two piece mother of pearl grips, patina to the eagle head pommel and cross guard with government style eagle. Attached to the dagger is an officers bullion dress knot / portepee, this is not a Government officials small pattern but appears to have been present on the dagger for a long time. Housed in the original scabbard with oakleaf hanging ring bands. Excellent condition double edged blade with much of the original finish remaining. Makers trademark to the reverse of the blade. The blade measures 25 ¾ cms, overall 39 ½ cms. Overall an excellent example of a rare Third Reich era dress dagger.
