Whiton / Boston 143 Hanover St.’, is very attractive & in overall great condition, VG++ – EXC.

Pommel with swastika to both sides and cross guard in the form of Luftwaffe eagle in flight. Housed in its original scabbard with period enforced repairs to the hanging rings. Double edged plain blade with makers trade mark to the reverse. Blade 24 ¾ cms, overall 42cms. Puma is an unusual maker to find on 2nd pattern Luftwaffe dagger.

Ставки принимаются через менеджераWW2 German Luftwaffe 2nd Pattern Officers Dress Dagger by SMF with Named Dedication to the Blade, standard type with orange celluloid grip, missing the wire binding. Polished aluminium top pommel with swastikas to both sides and cross guard in form of Luftwaffe eagle in flight. Housed in the original steel scabbard with two hanging rings. Some surface rusting to the scabbard. Double edged blade with SMF makers trade mark and Luftwaffe acceptance stamp above. The blade is also engraved on the obverse with the original owners name ‘H. Schmidt. Oberleutnant’ and the reverse ‘ Im Jahre n.C. 1938 Königsberg Pr.’ The blade 25cms, overall 43cms.
