US CIVIL WAR PERIOD UNION BUMMERS CAP W/ A VERBAL ID TO A GETTYSBURG VETERAN, a blue wool, 6′ tall in rear & 4 ½’ in front, the top has a 5 ¼’ diameter, its black leather visor extends 2′, w/ matching chin-strap &eagle side buttons, on the front is a brass company ‘G’ button while on the top is a 3 ½’ wide Infantry bugle in brass along w/ ‘120’ above, inside is a brown cotton lining w/ a label ‘M. & G. No. 4.’, most of its 1 ¾’ wide brown leather band is missing. The history of this is it belonged to Stephen Bleeker who served in the 120th NYV Co. G. 3rd Corps, was wounded at the Wilderness, he fought in Gettysburg & later was captured, condition wise this has some large holes upfront & other then the inside band this is in good condition, G++

US CIVIL WAR PERIOD UNION FORAGE CAP W/ UNIT INSIGNIA, blue wool w/ a 6′ tall rear w/ 3 ½’ tall front & the top has a 5 ½’ diameter, has a black patent leather visor which extends 2′ & comes w/ a matching chin-strap w/ eagle side-buttons, in brass on top is a 3 ½’ wide Infantry bugle & the brass emblem for ‘I’ company ’64’ for the regiment, has a black satin lining & a 1 3/8’s’ brown leather sweat band which is badly damaged, has bad moth areas in the rear, G.

Pre-WW2 German Army Artillery Officers Sword by WKC, fine brass hilted lion head sword with jewelled ruby eyes, oakleaves relief to the knuckle guard and crossed cannon barrels to the langet. Blackened curved sword scabbard with single hanging ring. Polished curved single edged blade with makers trademark to the base under the langet. Blade measures 80 ½ cms, overall 99cms.

Boer War and Great War Medal Group of Five to a Policeman who Served in the Military Mounted Police During the Great War, Queens South Africa medal with clasps Transvaal, South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902, impressed naming, ‘13527 GNR: G.H BAKER R.F.A.’, 1914-15 Star medal, ‘P-847 L-CPL G BAKER M.M.P.’ with 1911 Coronation medal, Metropolitan Police reverse, engraved naming, ‘P.C. G BAKER’. Group court mounted on a pin for wearing with J.R. Gaunt & Son label to the reverse. QSA and clasps confirmed on the medal roll, served with Maxim Battery, Royal Artillery. Served in France during the Great War arriving on 27th January 1915 and was discharged to Class Z Army Reserve on 4th August 1919. Post War he continued serving with the Metropolitan Police

US CIVIL WAR PERIOD UNION BUMMERS CAP, blue wool , 6′ tall in rear & 4 ½’ in front, its top diameter is 4 ¼’, its black patent leather visor extends 2 ½’& has matching chin-strap (slightly damaged) w/ eagle side-buttons, has a red satin lining which is damaged & a 2′ wide red leather sweatband, on front is a 1 ¾’ wide fold bullion officers ‘US’ oval (has a fair amount of corrosion), the leather visor has a lot of crazing, some moderate mothing, overall solid, G. – G+
