Inside the box is a assortment of slides which appear to show bomb damage of German cities etc. Accompanied by a German WW2 M-42 steel helmet shell which has been painted green to the exterior, black to the inside, a later produced liner but the original leather chinstrap. The vendor states the steel helmet was brought home from Anzio, but no documented evidence to support this.

Ставки принимаются через менеджераWW2 German U-Boat ‘U-802’ Commemorative 1944, interesting brass stand on four legs, with cut out torpedo to the centre, the stand is engraved ‘BREST 1944 – U 802 – FRANKREICH’. Stands 7 ½ cms, width 27 ½ cms, depth 21cms. -802 was a Type IXC/40 U-Boat which took part in four combat patrols, serving first in 4th U-Boat Flotilla, 2nd U-Boat Flotilla and then finally 33rd Flotilla. In 1945 the submarine was surrendered to the British forces.

Ставки принимаются через менеджераWW2 Imperial Japanese Naval Landing Forces (Marines) Combat Helmet with Cover and Camouflage Net, superb example of an original WW2 Japanese type 90 combat helmet which is fitted with the original light tan cloth helmet cover with machine woven naval anchor insignia to the front. Attached to the cover is the original green string knotted camouflage netting cover which is predominantly found on the naval landing forces helmets, especially those from the early island campaigns. Interior of the helmet has the original dark brown leather three pad liner system on the leather liner band and the cloth chinstraps. The helmet cover does not appear to have ever been removed from the helmet since it was brought home as a souvenir after WW2. A superb example of a rare to find Japanese combat helmet.

Helmet has the original top vent fitting and the brass metal infantry star to the centre. Green cloth covered interior and cloth strap lining with chinstrap. Cloth labels with inked details to the inside of the helmet. Generally a good example.

The helmet is complete with the original camouflaged string net over the top of the helmet cover. Interior of the helmet has the original leather three pad liner system and leather liner band. Cloth chinstrap ties are full length. The cover has some light staining, does not appear to have been removed from the helmet since brought home as a souvenir.

All four sides of the helmet have painted emblem for a medic (red cross). The helmet has no metal helmet emblem or a liner system. The helmet does have a later chinstrap attachment and part of a leather chinstrap. elieved to be an original WW2 Japanese type 90 helmet but worn in the post war years, probably in Indo China.
