Location and date on the obverse, ‘Mosbach Germany, April 16, 1945’. Reverse With additional writings ‘Taken from a Storch plane taken down by Ack Ack’. 38 cm diameter. Good conditon with signs of age. Very interesting item. Housed in a purpose Perspex protective case.

Complete with the original winder. Outer case with fixing holes for attaching to the aircraft cockpit dash. Some wear but generally a good example. Although appears not to be working, possibly in need of restoration, we do not guarantee its accuracy. Sold as a display item only.

The metal sign with green German police eagle to the centre and around the edge, ‘HALT POLIZEI’. Complete with the original wooden handle with fixing pins inserted in the top. Some wear to the metal sign with paint loss but overall an excellent example. These Police traffic signal signs are extremely rare to find as many were used in the post war years and had the central eagle removed. The market is flooded with reproduction examples so to find an original period piece is extremely hard to find.
