The original rubbers are in very good condition. The binoculars come in their original leather case. Case in very good condition, also maker marked ‘beh’, production date 1944 and marked with the national eagle with ‘M’ addition for ‘Marine’.

WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officers Dress Dagger with Straps and Portepee by Paul Weyersburg & Co, Solingen, good example of a Kriegsmarine officers dress dagger with the original eagle pommel top. White celluloid grip with the wire binding. Cross guard with release button. Attached to the grip is a officers bullion portepee. Housed in the deluxe pattern hammered scabbard with two hanging rings. Complete with the two piece hanging straps with gilded aluminium fittings. Double edged blade with sailing ship etched decoration and makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 25 cms, overall 42cms. Some wear to the gilt wash on the dagger strap fittings.

British 3rd Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Commando Knife, with one piece ribbed grip, stamping to cross guard not clear. Housed in a theatre made US style leather scabbard. Double edged hand ground stiletto blade with much of the original finish still remaining. Accompanied by an early post WW2 period Royal Marines beret with brass kings crown beret badge and a selection of paperwork relating to a John MacDonald MacCormich, including his naval identity card with uniform photograph of him in training beret, a number of interesting photographs of his time in service. Also a late claim WW2 campaign medal group. From brief internet research, it would appear that the medals and paperwork were sold in auction in 2019, but without this knife.

Properly marked with maker, and product code ‘152474 / bmk’ and with the additional triangle logo. The binoculars come with the original protection cap and leather neck strap.

White celluloid grip with the original wire binding. Cross guard with release button. Attached to the grip is the original Kriegsmarine issue portepee. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Complete with the two piece but miss-matched hanging straps. Double edged blade with standard etched decoration and WKC makers trademark. The blade measures 24 ¾ cms, overall 42cms.

Occupied France Made 10×50 Binoculars by Huet, Paris, ‘MARINE NATIONALE’, fine pair of marine optics with the body having a tropical paint finish indicating service in Southern France, North Africa (Afrikakorps) or in Italy. The binoculars have the Huet, Paris makers mark, plus ‘MARINE NATIONALE’ and 1869 serial number. Housed in blue canvas case of issue with leather shoulder strap. Set remains in good condition overall. Many items of equipment were manufactured in France and used by the German armed forces, some items were captured French equipment which was re-issued after the fall of France in 1940.

Third Reich Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Dress Dagger by E & F Horster Solingen, with blue leather covering to the grip and original wire binding. Aluminium pommel with mobile swastika to both sides, cross guard in winged form with mobile swastikas to the centre of both sides. Blue leather covered scabbard with aluminium mounts. Complete with full aluminium hanging chains. Double edged blade with leather spacer to the top. Makers trade mark to the reverse of the blade. The blade measures 30 ½ cms, overall 49 cms. Some light staining to the blade and some minor scuffs to the leather work on the exterior but otherwise a nice example.

White celluloid grip with the original wire binding in place. Luftwaffe eagle cross guard. Bullion officers dagger knot / portopee attached. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard is an original pair of velvet backed brocade hanging straps, one fixing clip damaged. Double edged plain blade with the makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 25 ¼ cms, overall 43 cms. Some fraying to the portepee and some light staining to the blade but a scarcer maker to find for this dagger.

#639 – WW2 American M3 Fighting Knife (Лот: 10705)
WW2 American M3 Fighting Knife, early 1943 dated ‘U.C’ (Utica Cutlery Company, NY). Housed in scarce M6 leather scabbard by Moose & Co, 1943 dated also. Blade and scabbard both show heavy use, with the tip missing, possibly for use as a can opener. These knives often associated with the US airborne troops which dropped in Normandy on D-Day. Blade 16cms, overall 38cms.
