#857 – Rare WW2 German Polizei ‘HALT’ Traffic Control Sign (Лот: 9449)
Rare WW2 German Polizei ‘HALT’ Traffic Control Sign, fine example of a rarely found original German police hand held traffic control sign. The metal sign with green German police eagle to the centre and around the edge, ‘HALT POLIZEI’. Complete with the original wooden handle with fixing pins inserted in the top. Some wear to the metal sign with paint loss but overall an excellent example. These Police traffic signal signs are extremely rare to find as many were used in the post war years and had the central eagle removed. The market is flooded with reproduction examples so to find an original period piece is extremely hard to find.
