^ Georgian Infantry Officers 5-Ball Hilted Spadroon of the 65th (Yorks & Lancs) Regiment of Foot, fine example with reeded ivory grip, having brass central band with engraved oval having starburst with ’65’ to the centre. Brass 5-ball guard and knuckle bow leading to pommel top. Housed in an associated later brass mounted leather scabbard. Single edged narrowing blade with remains of etched decoration. Late WW1 Imperial German Officers Lion Head Sword, interesting example produced in the late war period with miss-match brass and steel mounts, brass jewelled eyes lion head pommel and back strap and steel knuckle bow leading to cross guard and langet. Shagreen grip with wire binding. Housed in blackened steel scabbard with single hanging ring. Slightly curved blade with fuller to the back edge. Some surface staining and rust spots but should clean well. Blade 77 ½ cms, overall 94cms.

Rare WW2 Italian Paratroopers /Special Forces Personalised Fighting Knife, good example of the model 1939 Italian paratroopers combat knife with wooden handle having carved initials ‘C A’? and carved winged dagger insignia of the Italian airborne / special forces. Housed in the original blackened scabbard with diagonal belt bracket mount. Partially double edged knife blade measuring 20cms, overall 33 ½ cms. Some wear to the blade and evidence of sharpening to one edge.

Victorian Royal Naval Officers Sword Attributed to Lord Ashley-Cooper, 8th Earl of Shaftesbury, By Henry Wilkinson, 11806, lion head pommel, fishskin covered grip with wire binding, housed in leather with brass mounts scabbard. Near mint condition polished blade with etched decoration, crowned cipher to the bottom section. Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall retailers details to the base of the blade and number to the spine. Blade measures 82 cms, overall 98cms. Nearly all the gilt finish remains to the exterior fittings. Accompanied by a selection of research paperwork, which indicates Lord Ashley served in the Royal Navy, raising to the rank of Lieutenant. Lord Ashley committed suicide in 1886, by shooting himself in the head.

Imperial German S98 Bayonet, with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and cross guard. Housed in its leather and steel mounted scabbard, the top mount being loose. Cross guard and top scabbard mount both being stamped ’84. R. 7. 72′. Pipe back blade with fuller to the back edge. Acceptance stamp to the spine, blade stamped ‘SIMSON & CO SUHL’. Blade 52cms, overall 68cms.

Imperial German M98/05 Pioneer Sawback Bayonet, with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and long steel cross guard. Housed in its original steel scabbard with frog stud. The hilt and top of the scabbard have been painted red, this could probably be removed. Sawback edged blade with fuller and makers details of ‘SIMSON & CO SUHL’. Spine with acceptance stamp and date ’16’ for 1916. Blade measures 36 ½ cms, overall 51 ½ cms.

Housed in the steel scabbard. Blade with fuller to the back edge. The blade is unmarked. Blade measures 31 ½ cms, overall 45 ½ cms. his pattern of Ersatz bayonet was introduced in 1916.
