WW1 British Regimentally Marked Steel Combat Helmet Shell, good untouched as found example of a British Brodie 2nd pattern helmet shell with much of its rough textured darkened combat paint finish. To one side of the shell is the remains of the large painted insignia in the form of a white horse on red oval, West Yorkshire regiment? Shell has the original leather chinstrap, detached at one end, but no liner system. Some rusting to the exterior and interior of the shell. Barn find.

Third Reich NSDAP Ortsgruppe Political Leaders Peaked Cap, good example of the tan cloth high form peaked cap for an NSDAP political leader with blue piping to the crown and bordering the central brown velvet band. Gilt metal NSDAP political cap eagle and oakleaves cockade with enamel swastika cockade to the centre. Celluloid cap cords with plain pebbled side buttons. Interior with late type sweatband which has cracks and wear. Satin cloth lining to the interior with unmarked celluloid diamond to the crown. Linen RZM label to the underside of the sweatband. Some areas of moth damage to the piping but generally a good example.

Great War 1917 Isle of Wight Rifles Other Ranks Foreign Service Helmet, fine example of a khaki cloth covered cork foreign service helmet with thick folded cloth pagri having regimental badge affixed to the side. Complete with the original brown leather chinstrap. Green cloth covering to the underside of the helmet, tan leather sweatband. Interior with inked WD broad arrow and ink circular stamp with 1917 date. Helmet remains in very good overall condition. ate Rod Flood collection.

WW2 German Army Infantry NCO’s / Enlisted Mans Peaked Cap, good wartime issue example produced from a coarse field grey wool with white piping to the crown and bordering the central bottle green band. Complete with the original eagle and cockade insignia. Patent chinstrap and plain side buttons. Complete with leather sweatband and cloth lining to the interior. Cap shows service wear.

Great War Period / North West Frontier Foreign Service Helmet of the Denbigh Hussars Yeomanry, good example of khaki cloth covered cork woolsley foreign service helmet with cloth folded pagri having felt regimental flashes to both sides. Interior of the helmet has leather sweatband with cork spacers. Number over WD stamp to the inside and inked name and details of the original owner, ‘357. SQM S.C. BECKETT A. SQUADRON DENBIGH HUSSARS YEOMANRY’. Some damage to the cork crown and sun fading from wear.

WW2 German Army Officer or NCO’s Peaked Cap, white piped for infantry. Very nice and early ‘Gabardine’ wool produced cap with white embroidered insignia and Bevo army eagle. White wool piping. Original and untouched interior with leather sweat band and celluloid diamond. Larger size stamp ’59’ stamped inside. Interior with traces of age, please see photos.

WW1 American 33rd Infantry Division Steel Helmet, good example of an American M-17 steel combat helmet with its rough textured khaki paint finish to the shell. Centre of the helmet with painted divisional emblem of the 33rd Infantry division. The helmet has the original oilskin liner system and the leather chinstrap. Helmet has a handwritten tag attached which attributes the helmet to a private in F Company, 132nd Infantry regiment. This regiment landed in France in 1918, they took part in the Battle of Hamel, the Meuse-Argonne Offensive and the 1918 Somme Offensive.

WW2 German Army Artillery NCO’s / Enlisted Mans Peaked Cap, good example produced in doeskin wool with red piping to the crown and bordering the bottle green central band. Patent chinstrap with plain domed side buttons. Original cap eagle and cockade to the centre, cap eagle loose and one pin missing. Interior with leather sweatband and cloth lining. Original celluloid makers diamond with remains of the gilt tooled manufacturers details. Cap shows service wear to the interior with damage to the sweatband. Some small areas of moth damage to the cap. Ink regimental stamps to the underside of the sweatband for Artillerie Regiment Nr7.

WW1 American Steel Helmet 26th Infantry Division 101st Field Artillery, good untouched example of a early British Brodie 2nd type steel helmet with much of the original paint finish remaining. Front of the helmet has original insignia in form of Indian head. Helmet retains the original oilskin liner and leather chinstrap. British issue with split pin chinstrap mounts. Hemet with rusting and pitting.

Comes with white painted bayonet frog, marked RZM 836/42 and used as walk out piece within the Allgemeine SS ‘Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler’. (2 items)
