WW2 German Army Officers Dagger with Straps and Knot by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, good example with orange celluloid grip, aluminium pommel and zinc cross guard. Attached to the grip is original army officers dress knot / portepee. Complete with the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard is a fine pair of officers velvet backed brocade hanging straps with clip fittings. Double edged plain blade with Carl Eickhorn makers trademark to the base. Some light surface staining to the blade but otherwise good condition. The blade measures 25 ¼ cms, overall 39 ½ cms.

WW2 German Army Officers Sword by Clemen & Jung, Solingen, good example of a WW2 German army officers gilded aluminium hilted lion head sword with jewelled eyes. Black painted alloy grip without wire binding. Finely chased knuckle guard and cross guard having a short winged eagle to the centre of the langet. Housed in the original blackened scabbard with single hanging ring. Polished slightly curved blade with fuller to the back edge. Makers trademark to the base of the blade under the cross guard langet. Blade measures 83 ½ cms, overall 99 ¾ cms. See the reference work ‘Swords of Germany 1900-1945’ by Angolia, page 73 for this model of sword.

WW2 German Luftwaffe Battle of Britain Honour Goblet (Ehrenpokal) in Silver for Outstanding Achievement in the Air Awarded to Major Franz Behrendt, II./ Kampfgeschwader 77, Awarded on 12th August 1940, Pokal with silver content marking ‘835’ inside of the foot. Maker marked ‘Joh. Wagner & Sohn’. Engraved to the bottom ring ‘MAJOR FRANZ BEHRENT AM 12.8.40’. Very good condition without dents or damage. Fantastic piece, one of the very first awarded silver pokals.His unit took part in a number of the early operations, originally flying on He 111, then later converted to Junkers Ju-88’s. They participated in the invasion of Poland, Denmark & Norway, France and the Low Countries, before taking part in the Battle of Britain and later on bombing raids during the Blitz.
