Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Leather Two Part Dagger Hanger, unmarked, very early example with nickel silver parts. Worn condition.

Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Boker, Solingen, fine untouched example of a 33 pattern SS enlisted mans dress dagger with ebony grip having nickel silver eagle and enamel SS runes insignia. Exterior fittings all with matching patina. Lower cross guard stamped ‘I’. Housed in its original scabbard with single hanging ring. Some dents to the lower scabbard mount. Fine condition double edged blade with much of the original blacking to the motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’. Reverse of the blade has the makers trademark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. Overall a good untouched example of a desirable dagger by a desirable maker.

Scarce Transitional Pattern SS (Schutzstaffel) Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn Solingen, fine example with black ebony grip retaining the original eagle and enamel SS runes device. Plated mounts with some lifting. Housed in its original scabbard with plated mounts which show some spotting. Good condition double edged blade with motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’ in gothic lettering. Reverse side of the blade has the Eickhorn Solingen logo and also the RZM mark with 941/38 and SS runes. Some expected wear but generally a good example. SS mans daggers with the transitional blades having makers mark and RZM mark are very hard to find compared to that of the SA dagger.

Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Lion Head Officers Sword by Alexander Coppel, Solingen, good silver plated lion head pattern officers sword with jewelled ruby eyes, black celluloid grip with wire binding. Langet with polished raised SS runes and blackened finished backing to the shield. Housed in the blackened scabbard with single hanging ring. Plain slightly curved blade. Makers trademark to the base under the langet. Blade measures 82 ¼ cms, overall 98cms. Generally good condition. Before the introduction of the standard SS sword degen, many German army swords were worn by SS officers, many either being silver plated or having the gilt finish removed, some examples have green jewelled eyes or the red like this example.
