Third Reich Partial Ground Röhm Inscription SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger by Ernst Pack & Sohn, Solingen, good untouched example of a SA dress dagger with brown wooden grip having enamel SA device and nickel silver eagle inserted. Nickel silver grip mounts with the lower guard being stamped ‘No’. Good anodised scabbard with single hanging ring to the top mount having original short pattern brown leather dagger hanger attached. Standard double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and makers trade mark to the reverse. The blade also has the partial Röhm inscription still remaining with just a part and the name Ernst Röhm being removed. Blade is in generally good condition with just some surface staining. Some rusting to the scabbard. Blade 22 ¼ cms, overall 36 ¾ cms.

Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Erased Röhm Inscription Dress Dagger by F Dick, good untouched example with tiger stripe brown wooden grip having nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device. Nickel mounts with the lower cross guard being stamped ‘Wm’. Housed in its original anodised scabbard. Double edged blade with standard motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ retaining much of the original finish. The reverse of the blade shows evidence of a full Ernst Röhm dedication inscription being removed which has also removed part of the makers trademark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 36 ½ cms. Damage to the lower scabbard mount, good untouched example.

Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger with Factory Removed Ernst Röhm Inscription by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, fine example of an early pattern SA dress dagger with brown wooden handle having nickel eagle and enamel SA emblem. Lower cross guard mount with ‘Ho’ Gau stamp. Housed in its original anodised scabbard with short brown leather dagger hanger attached. Fine double edged blade with the standard motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ which retains much of the original blackened finish. The reverse of the blade has the typical small type Carl Eickhorn trademark to the base of the blade near the lower cross guard fitting and clear evidence of the removal of the inscription. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. SA members could have their daggers sent back to the blade maker to have the inscription professionally removed and polished out. Due to the cost involved, many members removed the inscription themselves in often crude ways.

Nickel plated grip mounts with the lower cross guard being stamped with gau mark ‘Wf’. Housed in its original scabbard with nickel mounts. Fine double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and the reverse with makers trademark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37 ½ cms. An unusual and hard maker to find.
