1939 Iron Cross 1st Class by Friedrich Orth with Case of Issue, three piece construction with magnetic iron core. Maker marked with the Orth marking on the pin. Good, light worn condition with majority of the black core paint intact. The cross comes in its original and matching case of issue with EK silhouette on the lid.

Rare Imperial German Bavarian M1869/98 Conversion Bayonet, interesting example being a WW1 conversion using a blade from a M1869 Bavarian Werder rifle bayonet fitted to a Mauser Model 1898 hilt. Acceptance stamps to the reverse of the hilt. Blade edge stamped ‘3’. Remains in generally good condition with just some surface pitting and evidence of cleaning. No scabbard. Blade 46 ¾ cms, overall 60 cms.

Imperial German S84/98 Bayonet, with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and short cross guard. Housed in a steel scabbard. Rear of the cross guard stamped with regimental markings, ’12. R. 4. 240′. Single edged blade with fuller to the back edge. Spine stamped with acceptance stamp and crowned ‘W’ over 87. Base of the blade with makers mark ‘ALEX COPPEL SOLINGEN’. Blade 25cms, overall 39 ½ cms.

Maker marked with both PK code ’20’ and LDO code ‘L/52’ on the reverse of the pin. Unissued condition with small signs of age. The cross comes in its original and matching box with iron cross silhouette on the obverse.

Royal Air Force C-Type Flying Helmet Set, consisting of a 2nd pattern brown leather C-Type flying helmet with webbing chinstrap. Helmet has the rubber ear cups but no headphones. Original wiring loom with the jack plug. Fitted to the helmet is a post WW2 period rubber type A-13A oxygen mask with the original rubber hose and metal fitting. Also accompanied by a pair of post war Mk VIII style flying goggles. Some wear and perishing to the rubber hose but otherwise a good post WW2 set.

Attributed WW2 American USAAF A-11 Flying Helmet, good example of a brown leather American A-11 flying helmet with the original ear cups having the earphones with the wiring loom and jack plug. Complete with the leather goggle securing straps and chinstrap. Chamois lined interior with the original contractors label. Attached to the reverse of the helmet is an original metal identity tag ‘Dog Tag’ of Rober B Steiner. Worthy of research.
