Complete with its original circular buckle with gilt metal short winged eagle and swastika to the centre. Complete with the keeper and leather tab to the reverse. Some wear but still a good example of a rare to find brocade belt.

Ставки принимаются через менеджераRare WW2 British Prisoner of War Escape and Evasion Vanity Kit, an interesting male grooming / vanity cased kit which includes, razor, brushes, combs, shaving brush etc. The shaving brush bristles can be removed to reveal a MI9 type compass. The other components in the case may also contain or would have contained aids to help the recipient of the parcel escape captivity. The set remains in the original parcel box addressed to a prisoner in Stalag 3A in Germany. Many aids for prisoners were sent to the various POW camps around Germany during WW2. These kits often aided many allied prisoners of war to attempt escapes from captivity. talag III A was at Luckenwalde, Brandenburg, 32 miles south of Berlin. It housed Polish, Dutch, Belgian, French, Yugoslav, Russian, Italian, American, British and other Allied POW’s during its existence.

Very good condition with just a few very small moth bites. With an old paper envelope pointing to a possible bring back from an SS headquarters in Berlin, April 1945.

The reverse has stencilled in black, ‘NCC SD’. Complete with the wooden post. The sign measures 76 ½ x 20 ½ cms. Stands 109cms. Weathered and worn. lease note we are not able to offer in house post and packing on this lot.

Cross guard in form of deer hoofs and shell guard with white metal crowned shield to the centre. Housed in its leather and brass mounted scabbard. Finely etched blade with hunting scenes, hunter, trophy of arms and panel with ‘Jager Schraub 1907’. Small nicks to the blade edge and some light staining but generally still a nice example.

With the original skins, glass top added to the top skin and the rope tension strings. Very good overall condition.
