#331 – Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Model 1936 Officers Chained Dress Dagger (Лот: 10397)
Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Model 1936 Officers Chained Dress Dagger, fine example with ebony grip having nickel eagle and enamel SS runes inserted. Lower cross guard stamped ‘Ns’. Housed in its anodised scabbard with Type C hanging chains, with open loops, skull without nasal septum and straight top upper links. Reverse of the chain with SS rune acceptance stamp. Excellent condition blade with much of the original finish remaining. Motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’ and correct no makers trademark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. Some small chips to the grip on the reverse lower section but generally a very good example of a SS officers dress dagger. See the reference work, ‘The Service Daggers of the SS’ by Siegert for attribution of the chains type, the reference work by Thomas T Wittmann also shows this type of chain but he lists it as a Type 1.

Rare North Hants Yeomanry Officers Full Dress Sabretache, fine dark blue cloth body with heavily bullion embroidered Victorian crown above fine quality silvered Hampshire rose with polished highlights. Around silver lace and three white metal hanging rings to the top. Reverse with its leather pouch. Remains in excellent overall condition. Late Rod Flood collection.

THIRD REICH SA (STURMABTEILUNG) DRESS DAGGER WITH ERASED ROHM INSCRIPTION, complete with wooden grip having nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device. Lower cross guard mount stamped ‘Sa’. Housed in its anodised scabbard. Blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’, reverse shows evidence of a Ernst Rohm dedication being removed, along with the makers trademark. Untouched example.

Victorian Hampshire Yeomanry Carabiniers Officers Undress Sabretache, fine example of a black leather undress sabretache with rich gilt metal regimental badge to the centre with silvered and gilt Hampshire rose to the centre and lower scroll with ‘CARABINERS’. Two of the three brass ‘D’ rings to the top and the reverse with the leather pouch. Very good example. Late Rod Flood collection.

THIRD REICH SA (STURMABTEILUNG) DRESS DAGGER BY GUSTAV WIRTH, SOLINGEN, good untouched example with wooden grip, nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device. Lower cross guard mount stamped ‘OH’. Housed in anodised scabbard with just remains of the finish. Good condition blade overall with much of the original polish to majority of the blade. The blade with standard ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ motto. Makers trademark to the reverse.

AT NIGHT, switch off head lamp. Keep side and rear lights on’. Signed TP to the corner. Poster measures 76 x 25cms, some fold lines.

Victorian Hampshire Regiment Drum Majors Sash, fine example of a white cloth sash being heavily embroidered with Victorian crown above VR cypher, battle honours, regimental insignia, Tiger on scroll ‘INDIA’, more battle honours and then spray of Hampshire roses. Edging with lace, detached in places. Reverse of the sash with leather and gilt tooled makers details of Hobson & Sons. Some wear but generally a good example. Late Rod Flood collection.

Housed in its anodised scabbard. Worn blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’. Reverse has had the makers trademark removed and personalised with the name ‘Wilh Maier’. Dagger shows wear, lower scabbard mount missing one screw.
