RARE THIRD REICH PERSONALISED SS OFFICERS SWORD, fine untouched example of an early nickel silver SS officers sword with the top pommel knot being engraved with the original owners initials. SS device mounted to the grip, original wire binding to the grip. Housed in its original scabbard with the top scabbard mount being stamped with SS acceptance runes. Polished straight blade with Peter Daniel Krebs makers mark. Blade 31 ½ ‘.

Imperial German Bavarian Officers Pickelhaube, good example of a leather bodied officers pickelhaube with gilt metal Bavarian helmet plate to the centre, brass front trim, scaled officers chinstraps with officers state and national cockades. Cruciform spike base with officers pattern securing stars, Bavarian pattern officers spike. Interior with wide tan leather sweatband but no cloth lining. Generally a good example.

Hampshire Yeomanry (Carabiniers) Full Dress Uniform of Major F D E Baring, The Right Honourable The Lord Ashburton, fine full dress uniform in dark blue cloth, white collar, cuffs with heavily bullion embroidered cuffs and lace to the collar. Officers knotted shoulder boards with bullion rank crowns. Gilt metal Victorian crowned regimental tunic buttons. Interior with padded quilted lining which shows some wear. Interior with tailors label having inked name. Accompanied by matching officers trousers. Set remains in generally good condition. Frances Denzil Edward Baring succeeded to the title ofBaron Ashburton, of Ashburton, Devon, on 18 July 1889 and took his seat in theHouse of Lords. He was an officer in theHampshire Yeomanry(Carabiniers), where he was appointed aLieutenanton 17 August 1901, promoted toCaptainon 6 December 1902, and ended asMajor. In 1891, Baring was appointed to be aDeputy Lieutenantof the County of Southampton. One of Britain’s foremost yachtsmen, Lord Ashburton died of a heart attack aboard the RMS Queen Mary on 27 March 1938. Late Rod Flood collection.

LEAD CRYSTAL GLASS FROM ADOLF HITLERS PERSONAL TABLE SERVICE, fine example of a large wine glass from his personal service with fine gold leaf AH and eagle to the centre. Gold leaf to the top of the glass. Remains in excellent overall condition. Much of the Adolf Hitler personal silverware survived but the glassware is very rare to find. You find different types either with this style or with down winged eagle. Much of the personal dinner service was removed from the Beghof in Bavaria.

Imperial German Bavarian Reserve Pioneer Battalion Other Ranks Pickelhaube, good example of a leather bodied other ranks pickelhaube with white metal Bavarian other ranks helmet plate having brass reserve cross to the centre. Repainted other ranks state and national cockades with original leather chinstrap. White metal front trim, rear spine and other ranks pattern spike with plain domed securing fittings. Various regimental stampings and makers stampings to the interior which would indicate that this helmet has been re-issued and re-fitted during the wartime period, very common to find with reserve helmets. Generally a good example.

Interior with tailors label having inked name. Accompanied by matching officers trousers. Set remains in generally good condition. #306 – WW1 German M-16 Battle Damaged Steel Combat Helmet (Лот: 10372)
WW1 German M-16 Battle Damaged Steel Combat Helmet, good untouched example of a M-16 steel combat helmet with good percentage of the original field grey paint finish to the shell. The side lugs have been filled which was a common practice by front line troops. The peak has been cracked by an impact to one side. Leather liner band and three leather liner pads which all show wear and have damage. Complete with single chinstrap fitting but no chinstrap. Shell is stamped ‘ET62’. Some wear to the helmet but generally good untouched example.
