THIRD REICH FUNERAL SASH, interesting red silk (faded to pink) two part funeral wreath sash with bow to the top. One arm of the sash with Iron Cross motif and the other with a national swastika. Silver wire fringing to the bottom. Rear of the bow with remains of a NSBO emblem. Generally good example.

WW2 German Army Wehrpass Infantry Ersatz Battalion 483, issued to Ernst Neumeister from Berlin. Civilian photograph to the inside. Previous service with the RAD before joining the armed forces. He served with a couple of different units, his last being Infantry Ersatz Battalion 483 who he served in until May 1942. Various entries and stampings to the inside of the book. No awards noted. Complete with a cloth rank chevron.

Scarce WW1 German Ersatz Medical Pouches, slightly miss-matched pair of pouches being the left and right types made by Karl Barth Waldbol and dated 1917. Original labels to the interior of the pouches. One side strap damaged but otherwise generally good condition.Ex Michael Baldwin collection, shown on page 72 & 73 of Feldzug 1917 by Baldwin. When his collection was sold by us in 2018, these pouches had contents which Baldwin states in his book were added to the pouches by himself, these contents are no longer present.

#283 – IMPERIAL GERMAN NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD WITH PRESENATION AND DAMASCUS BLADE (Лот: 7635)
IMPERIAL GERMAN NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD WITH PRESENATION AND DAMASCUS BLADE, fine example of a gilt lion head naval officers sword with green and red jewelled eyes, folding guard with crowned anchor motif. Polished bone handle with wire binding. Housed in its original leather and brass mounted scabbard. Rear of the guard with engraved name of the original owner. Slightly curved slender piped back blade with Damascus pattern, G B & S with crossed swords distributor mark and knights head trademark to the reverse. The blade has a presentation inscription ‘Robert Moraht s/l. Raimund Gnertner, October 1903’, interesting the name of the presenter appears to be English and the inscription date has the English spelling of October, which would lead to believe that this sword was presented by a British naval officer to a German naval officer as a gift in 1903. Would make for an interesting research project.

He is noted as being awarded the entry into Sudetenland medal. Various stampings and entries in the book. Housed in the card carry slipcase.

IMPRESSIVE IMPERIAL GERMAN BANNER, with fine and heavily embroidered crowned eagle Deutsche Kaiserreich emblem set upon a fabric backing with brocade to the bottom and fringing. Cord hanging rope attached at both ends. The quality of the embroidery to the central eagle is very impressive making the eagle very pronounced. Plain backing. Possibly part of a larger flag or kettle drum cover.

IMPERIAL GERMAN NAVAL OFFICERS GILT AND DAMASCUS SWORD, fine example of a larger hilt type officers sword in gilt metal with the lion head having green and red jewelled eyes. Polished bone grip with wire binding in place. Large gilt metal guard incorporating Imperial crowned anchor and folding rear guard. Housed in black leather and gilt mounted scabbard. The blade has Damascus pattern and gilt decoration of sailing ship, crowned anchor, trophies etc, would have probably been blued when first produced, this now worn away. The blade is a piped back type and of heavy weight. Overall a nice deluxe naval officers sword.
