Regimental tunic buttons and bullion regimental collar stars. Buttons missing from the shoulder straps but otherwise all are present. Saville Row tailors label to the interior of the tunic with typed date 1981 and name of the original owner, Major M H Somervell. Good example overall. Re-offered due to non-paying bidder.

Rear peak is stamped with regimental marking for the 19th Bavarian Infantry Regiment, ’19.J.R’. Generally good condition.

Pewter top with Baden griffin to the handle. Inside of the stein with scene of soldier saying goodbye to his sweetheart. Generally good condition. Accompanied by two Imperial German uniform card collecting books. (3 items)

Issued to Hermann Kroh in 1937. Both parents had died, his father in 1917, possibly whilst serving in the armed forces in WW1. From 1929 until 1935 he served in the Landes-Polizei Sachsen and then did military service from October 1935 until June 1937 with 2./M.G Abtl 7 Dresden. Award noted is a 4th class service medal. Various entries.

Inside has image of Adolf Hitler and image of the leadership corps of the Dutch NSB. Like the NSDAP year books, inside is colored plates with various uniforms and insignia of the organization. Generally good condition.

Complete with oval cockade insignia with painted centre. Leather chinstrap with brass Russian double headed eagle side buttons. Small black patent peak. Interior with sweatband and cloth lining. The colourings of this cap seem to match that of the Life Guard Regiment Volhynianski.

Helmet is complete with the original 2nd pattern Luftwaffe decal, approximately 75% present. Complete with the original brown leather chinstrap and its original tan leather liner. Remains of the original owners name inked to the liner. Unclear makers stamp but size mark 64 still visible, batch number appears to be ‘4037’. Some surface rusting to the exterior of the shell, small area of damage to the original chinstrap.
