WW2 German Soldbuch and Wehrpass Grouping to a NCO in Artillery Regiments and Later Army Weapons School, fine grouping of documents relating to Josef Kohlbecher. His soldbuch has uniform photograph of Kohlbecher to the inside, various Artillery regiments noted in the book including Stab II Artillery Regiment Nr70, issued on 30th August 1939. He joined an Army Weapons school in 1944 until the end of the war in 1945, for his service in this he was awarded the War Service Cross 2nd class with swords, the citation for this award accompanies the grouping. Various equipment and medical information is listed in his Soldbuch. The rear of the book has a lot of leave listed with the various ink stamps. Some ink damage to the rear of the book. A number of awards are noted in his soldbuch and also his Wehrpass, these include the War Service Cross 2nd class, Iron Cross 2nd class, Iron Cross 1st class, West Wall medal and Eastern Front medal. His wehrpass has a RAD uniform photograph to the inside which shows him as a musician. His personal information listed in the beginning pages of the book. He served in the initial invasion of France and Belgium before moving to the Eastern Front before ending the war in Norway. The two books are accompanied by an archive of original documents and paperwork relating to his service during WW2 and some post war.
