Ставки принимаются через менеджераGreat War Bronze Memorial Plaque 2nd Battalion Devonshire Regiment 1917 Casualty, awarded to ‘ALBERT DICCOX’. Generally good condition. 22313 Private Albert Diccox, 2nd Devonshire Regiment who was killed in action aged 26 years on 14th April 1917 during the attack on Villers Guislains. The attack failed due to the presence of wire defences and heavy machine gun fire resulting in 17 Other Ranks being killed and 26 wounded. He was originally from Idstone Ashbury in Wiltshire.

Ставки принимаются через менеджераThird Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger by Very Rare Maker Heinrich Krom, München, good untouched as found example of an early model SA dress dagger with dark brown wooden grip having nickel eagle and enamel SA device. Lower cross guard mount stamped with original owners membership number ‘19676’. Housed in early anodised scabbard with the lower scabbard mount showing heavy wear and denting to the ball tip. Double edged blade with the remains of the blackened finish to the standard motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’. Makers trademark to the reverse of the blade. The blade shows some staining and wear. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. It is believed that this maker only produced about 1,000 SA dress daggers and is rated as a 10 on rarity scale (the highest number achievable)

Ames, Cutler Springfield’, the double engraved blade shows a patriotic eagle, an Indian, a US shield, floral designs etc., the grip is a gray ribbed iron, also has an iron clamshell guard & pommel both retaining about 90% of their gold gilt, the black leather scabbard has some cracking & some seam separation but are very solid as are the 3 gilted decorative brass mounts, comes w/ dam- aged gold bullion knot & correct white buff leather frog (separation on back), the belt is an early white buff leather, the gilted brass buckle is a tongue & wreath style w/ an oakleaf wreath having an elaborate ‘US’ tongue (reverse of both are stamped ‘XV’ (a foundry mark))VG++

WASHFORD R.A.M.C.’, ghost dates on reverse of medal. rank Herbert Washford was a 22-year-old Lunatic Attendant from Bearsted, Maidstone when he attested on 9th June 1900. He served for a total of 1 year 269 days of which he spent 1 year and 260 days in South Africa before his discharge on 4th March 1902. e is entitled to 3 clasps on this medal, Cape Colony, Orange Free State and Transvaal as well as being awarded the Kings medal with 2 clasps.

Originally from Aloa, Clackmannanshire he was killed on the 2nd day of the Battle of Loos, 26th September 1915. His body was never reco9vered and he is remembered on the Loos Memorial, France.

Lower cross guard is stamped with gau / district mark ‘Mi’. Housed in the original anodised scabbard with a single hanging strap attached. The scabbard throat is engraved with unit mark ’14/2952′. Excellent condition double edged blade with 90% of the blackened finish to the motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’, reverse has the makers trademark. Blade 22cms, overall 37cms. Small dent to the lower ball on scabbard mount.

Ставки принимаются через менеджераGreat War Bronze Memorial Plaque Kings Own Scottish Borderers 1917 Casualty, bronze plaque awarded to ‘ALBERT JAMES NEWBY’, generally good condition. 10796 Sergeant Albert James Newby, 6th Battalion Kling’s Own Scottish Borderers who is recorded as having been killed in action on 23rd September 1917 but was most likely killed in the period 20th – 23rd September when the battalion attacked Hanabeke Wood and suffered Other Rank casualties of 26 killed, 200 wounded and 27 missing. Albert James Newby was never recovered and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
