Ставки принимаются через менеджераRare Victorian 3rd Guernsey Militia Officers Home Service Helmet, fine green cloth covered cork home service pattern helmet with gilt metal officers regimental helmet plate, centre with crest of Guernsey and scroll ‘DIEX AIE’ above and below stung bugle with ‘3’ to the centre and three part scroll ‘ROYAL GUERNSEY MILITIA’. Rosette side bosses with linked gilt metal chin scales, cruciform spike base with rosette fittings. Interior with tan leather sweatband and crimson lining. Paper label to the inside of the shell with inked details, ‘III I Com L J Lloyd C4/8 casy’. Housed in metal storage tin. Late Rod Flood collection.

Helmet has its original German army decal which is approximately 90% present. Interior retains its original soft leather liner but no chinstrap. Shell is stamped ‘EF66’ and ‘4837’, however the stampings are not clear. Generally a good example of a single decal steel helmet.

Velvet backed officers chinstrap and gilt metal lion head side bosses. Black ribbed cloth to the sides of the mortar board with patent leather top. Gilt metal roped plume socket with plain button. Helmet is complete with a black feather plume but not gilt mount. Interior with leather sweatband and cloth lining. Hawkes tailors logo to the interior crown.

Complete with a 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal which is approx. 90% present and a national tri-colour decal to the other side which has been slightly rubbed giving it a slightly faded look. Helmet is complete with its original brown leather chinstrap and the original leather liner system. Shell is stamped ‘NS64’ and ‘5901’. Generally good example.
