WWII GERMAN LUFTWAFFE SINGLE DECAL STEEL COMBAT HELMET, good example of a M-40 pattern steel combat helmet with much of the original Luftwaffe blue combat paint finish to the shell. Original 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal, approx 85% present. Interior of the helmet has the original leather liner system. Shell is stamped ‘Q66’ and batch number ‘11453’.

WW2 British Combat Helmet with Camouflage Net Cover, good example of an original WW2 British combat helmet which retains much of its original green combat paint finish. Attached to the helmet is an original camouflaged combat net. Interior of the helmet retains its 1942 dated liner system and webbing chinstrap. Good untouched classic WW2 Normandy campaign type combat helmet.

WW2 Royal Artillery Battery V1 Rocket Record of Successful Destructions, a very interesting crashed wing section of a V1 rocket which has been painted with details of Victories of V1 rockets shot down by a Royal Artillery battery in Southern England in 1944. The wing has painted ‘THIS IS THE WING OF A FLYING BOMB. IT WAS SHOT DOWN ON 19TH AUG,. 1944 BY A TRAINING BATTERY OF THIS REGIMENT ON OPERATIONAL DUTY IN SOUTHERN ENGLAND. THIS IS A LIST OF THEIR SUCCESSES’, it then goes on to list the dates of all the successes against the rockets and includes a small image of the rocket, underneath is a key to distinguish between rockets which were ‘GROUND BURST’ and ‘AIR BURST’. The wing is mounted in a wooden glazed frame with brass fixing mounts. This lot came with the previous lot, being the trophy to Sergeant Smith for shooting down a V1 rocket.

ROYAL SCOTS FUSILIERS FIELD OFFICERS SWORD BY WILKINSON, numbered 60645, regulation pattern with blade etched with thistles and St Andrew, regimental emblem of the Royal Scots Fusiliers, Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall, London. Hilt finely designed with thistles and regimental details. Shagreen grip with wire binding. Buff lining to the inside of the guard. Housed in the original plated scabbard. Generally good condition.

WWII GERMAN LUFTWAFFE DOUBLE DECAL STEEL COMBAT HELMET, good example of a M-35 steel combat helmet which retains much of its original Luftwaffe blue paint finish to the shell. 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal and national tri-colour decals. Helmet retains its original leather liner system and brown leather chinstrap with aluminium buckle. Shell is stamped ‘SE66’ and ‘4268’. Generally a good example.

WW2 British 1944 Dated Airborne Forces / Paratroopers Steel Combat Helmet, good example with aluminium band to the brim, green paint finish to the exterior of the shell with large blue rectangle and white painted diamond and ‘/27’ to one side. Interior with its 1944 dated BMB marked liner system with webbing chinstrap having leather chin cup. Original owner name and number inked to the chin cup. Probably continued use in post war TA service.

Plated mounts and linked chain running the length of the wooden haft with a large silver plated lower socket piece. Remains in very good overall condition. Approximately 52′ in length.

Victorian 2nd Hants Rifle Volunteers Other Ranks Home Service Helmet, fine example of a green cloth covered other ranks cork home service helmet with other ranks pattern helmet plate, having arms of Southampton to the centre and strap with ‘2ND HANTS RIFLE VOLUNTEERS’. Rosette side bosses with linked white metal chin strap and cruciform spike base with rosette mounts. Interior with leather sweatband. Generally a very good example of a scarce helmet. Late Rod Flood collection.

Third Reich Deutsches Arbeitsfront (D.A.F) Peaked Cap, blue cloth body peaked cap with machine embroidered black central band with oakleaves. Attached to the cap is a gilt metal wreath cockade with central cog wheel emblem insignia to the centre. Patent chinstrap with plain side buttons. Interior with blue cloth lining and celluloid diamond having silver leaf cogwheel emblem of the organisation. Tan leather sweatband and DAF linen label to the underside. Some light service wear.

WWII GERMAN ARMY DOUBLE DECAL STEEL COMBAT HELMET, good example of a classic M-35 double decal steel combat helmet which retains much of the apple green paint finish to the shell. Complete with army decal and national tri-colour decal, both about 90% present. Helmet is complete with the original brown leather liner and aluminium liner band. Shell is stamped ‘ET66’ and ‘8’ above ‘3450’ to the rear skirt. The helmet shows some wear but is generally a good classic double decal steel helmet.

1944 Dated British Dispatch Riders Steel Helmet, good example of a standard British dispatch riders helmet which has dark paint finish to the shell, to one side has two white painted bars, possibly a form of rank insignia. Interior of the helmet with 1944 dated liner system. Helmet remains in generally good condition.
