WW2 German Army (Heer) Officers Combat Tunic, Peaked Cap and Steinhauer & Luck Made Knights Cross of the Iron Cross, from a Knight’s Cross Winner with the rank of Oberstleutnant from Grenadier Regiment 481, fine quality officers four pokcet tunic made from fine Gabardine wool with matching and original applied insignia. Additional medal loops applied to the breast pocket as well as two loops for the ribbon bar or close combat clasp. The uniform comes with the matching ‘Kleiderklasse’ peaked cap, size 58. The cap is made from later war Gabardine wool. Interior in very good condition and with that nice ‘crushed’ look to it. Attached to the uniform is the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross, type by Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, so called “C-frame”. Three piece constructed piece with polished frame and non magnetic core. Excellent, mint condition with frosted and polished frame. No repairs, no damage. Nice piece of ribbon was adjusted for wear underneath the uniform collar, where it was attached with one hook to open. The uniform and cap are not named and it would appear that Grenadier Regiment 481 had many Knights cross winners.
