Imperial German Wurttemberg Infantry Regiment Nr126 (8th Wurttemberg Infantry Regiment) Other Ranks Pickelhaube and Matching Trench Cover, fine time capsule helmet being a standard other ranks leather pickelhaube with brass other ranks helmet plate to the centre. State and reichs cockades and leather chinstrap. Fitted to the helmet is an interesting variation of an other ranks field cover with metal hooks and painted in green ‘126’ to the front. Interior of the helmet has the original other ranks leather liner and the rear peak has various markings including inked regimental stamps for Infantry Regiment 126.
